So now Tony is lauding himself as CA shares a similar view. Interesting that Anderson has come of for some sharp criticism on this forum recently, I wonder of Tony has gully backed him since he came to the club?

Ah but the SCG minutes pre date the latest CA comments. Maybe he's completed his analysis of renting vs building since then and concluded that once properly scrutinized building doesn't stack up against the right rent deal and is now persueing the right rent deal. If he can't get the right rent deal I'd imagine building is back on the books (or is that just on the books? Let's face it, it wasn't ever on the books originally) CA himself said he's not ruling anything out although he's made it pretty clear what the best corse of action is. Unlike his predecessors he's going to find out if it's achievable.

Or perhaps he's playing a clever PR game, he knows the new stadium idea is unpopular, so he states that we can flourish at the Ricoh if 17 items can be negotiated, he butters up wasps saying he thinks it's achievable, then if/when it falls down they can say they had no choice but to move to a new stadium....

Wouldn't be the first misdirection he's played.

So my point stands then. I did say you peddle some shite, which is exactly what CCFC management have been doing for the last 5 years isn't it?

No this time CCFC are playing with a straight bat, this must be 100% true.

Not the new management, evidently.
Can't continue to bring up old mistakes as an example of the way forward.
Move on, there is no other option than to negotiate with Wasps.

Indeed that is possible and I don't dismiss it in the slightest. One step at a time though. Let's see what CA can or cannot negotiate first.

I mentioned it on another thread that it could be an attempt to turn more supporters against them and dismiss the notion that they will do anything to help us.

This is a step in the right direction, something you're clearly struggling with as you're happy speculating on what wasps would ever do if asked using speculation based on nothing as a reason not to ask. All I've ever said is if you don't ask you'll never know, if you never know you can't make an informed decision. Something you don't seem to want the club to be in a position to do. You're quite happy biting of your nose to bite your face.

If there's no deal to be done we will at least know and that will put us one step further ahead than we are now. You're clearly dreading CA coming out of negotiations successfully because you've clearly put all your eggs in the leave the Ricoh at any cost basket. Your a bit of an idiot really.

Personally I have been critical in a sense about CA. I've been quick to point out his arrival coinciding with our fall in form. Does this mean that he's interfering with on field matters? Not necessarily but it does coincide. Time will tell.

I'm cautious of CA and who would blame me for that given SISU's track record with appointing people at the top. I welcome this change of language and hope we can positively engage with our landlords and land a deal that's good for the long term future of the club. What I don't understand is why you don't welcome it.

Does that mean judging by the above comment that you now trust Sisu? as they are following the path you think they should

But have they really come round to your argument though?

Or were they just talking shit to temporarily appease people like yourself, which you seem to have lapped up with no questions asked like you usually do when someone says something you like.

They are considering other options to a new stadium which up to now has been the only option.

The new stadium has been put on hold since half a dozen people were shown the plans and they got ruined by drool.

Why, just because Anderson said it? You are far too easy to convince.

He's an expert in football finance and our Chief Executive.
It's an option they are obviously now considering other than hoping Wasps fail and pick up where we were before they came.
Or is it a new stadium?

At least they may now ask Wasps for what they want. Must be horrible for you hearing that !!

I'm clueless in what you see as the plan to get out this mess other than moan.

Not horrible at all, I just have my reservations and believe further questions need answering as parts of the idea Anderson proposed still don't quite add up. I'm also sceptical as as to whether it is there genuine intention or another misdirect given that only days before Sepalla said almost the polar opposite to Anderson's telegraph interview.

tbh I don't see any way out of the mess, which is why I was so devastated when the Ricoh was sold to Wasps as I saw ownership of the Ricoh as the way out. Only way we get out of the mess is if some rich guy who doesn't mind losing a shed load of money takes a fancy to us.

Other options will become available to us. But not in this league.

I'm devastated that we can't get out of here and travelling home and away this week watching 3 poor losses makes me feel sick.

I told you the other day I welcome it but am not convinced he will get anywhere.

Sorry. I must have taken a leaf out of your book and done some selective reading.

It's a rehashed interview of when he first came here. Eakin poured scorn on it yesterday.

Only 12,823 today for a game you got a ticket for a £1 if you went to the Tigers game...

I think it will.

The novelty is wearing off slowly but surely. It took us a few seasons before an average of 16-17k in the Championship whereas the average in the first few seasons was over 20k IIRC.

It would be even quicker if our fans stopped going and also if they have a bad season but I suppose that is impossible as they are the richest rugby team in the universe
