Can't you differentiate between sisu and the football club? Chris Anderson is in charge of the day to day running of the club, like your mate Eastwood is in charge if the day to day running of wasps, would you be complaining about him or Richardson if they hadn't got their season tickets out or if the pies aren't quite hot enough for you?

The stadium was also 3 weeks. Seems to be the stock answer acceptable to some.

Would you expect last seasons season ticket holders to get an courtesy email ?

Given that its still April and the season hasn't finished I don't think its unreasonable to wait until the the timeframe the club has publicly stated passes before complaining about not having full details. As has been said in the thread already we are far from the only club who haven't released season ticket details.

I would certainly expect existing season ticket holders to get an email when full details are released.

I have not got a clue on the future plans of my football club, one I have followed religiously since 1967.

What is it you want to know? How much detail do fans of other sides get of their clubs long term plans?

People complained about the club shop, Avec came in and the shop got moved as close as practically possible to the stadium.

People complained about ticketing and Ticketmaster have come in to sort that.

We have extended the deal at the Ricoh and Anderson has stated all options, including staying long term at the Rioch, are being explored and has identified various points ACL need to agree on to enable a long term stay at the Ricoh to be viable.

We have a rolling deal for the academy and Anderson has stated that they are working to make this a longer term commitment.

SISU have stated the club is to be self sustaining. While we would all love someone to come in and throw millions at the club without expecting a return but realistically its hard to object to the idea of being self sufficient.

Mowbray and Venus have full control of the footballing side and have made the required improvements to Ryton and put a scouting system in place.

They have already started work on the squad for next season.

What is it you aren't being told?

We all know SISU have been useless owners and have made too many mistakes to count, some of them disastrous but you keep banging on about some vague plan without putting anything forward or saying what it is you're expecting.

Thanks :)

I was being sarcastic as I have not heard much from him really

What, since Yesterday? http://www.ccfc.co.uk/news/article/...entry-city-sheffield-united-pusb-3084470.aspx

Change from one service provider to another comes with certain logistical challenges and this is why we haven’t gone live with season ticket sales yet. We want to make sure that the service we roll out works and we are hoping to go on sale for the 2016/17 campaign within the next couple of weeks, and disclose full details, including pricing and the Zebra Finance payment plan then. We appreciate that you are eager to get your order in as soon as possible but we want to make sure everything is ready with the new system, website, and call centre before we deliver you the new and improved service.

It's ok, I'll say it for you

WHATS THE PLAN SISU.

So they aren't working on it?

You are getting a bit embarrassing the way you spout off without knowing things

If it had already been actioned it wouldn't be a plan! A plan is things that are going to happen in the future so any plan made by anyone could be said to be promises.

I know they are working on the stadium so perhaps you are right.

Oh look, goalposts get moved. From talking about ticketing, you get corrected and you go on about something else!

Okay they are working on the ticketing system.
To be honest it's probably the same system as Wasps and could be done in minutes with CCFC allocated different dates.
Would have been nice to have season tickets available today like 'most' other teams have.

Corrected on what ? All I said was that actions speak louder than words.

It couldn't be done in minutes though could it, how would they know where you sat to renew? Then it needs testing.

Exactly, the actions of getting a new ticketing system...

If it's not done come June, then kick off.

It's a 33,000 database that CCFC already have.
The Ticketing system I suspect is already set up at Ticketmaster for Wasps.

It's a doddle

CCFC have the customer database Ticketmaster just need to integrate. Make that 2 days.

Only a complete idiot would attempt to change the ticketing system in the middle of the season. You're asking for trouble.

The CCFC database is over double that number.

Ticketmaster have their own backend, Wasps have their own front end. There's a lot more work to go into it than you suggest. Including training staff. You'd be straight on here to complain if there had been massive queues yesterday as nobody knew how to use the system.

The club agreed the deal with TM 5 days ago yet you're already complaining its not up and running!

I seem to remember ashdown saying that there were around 150k individual customers on the ccfc databasem

.... and the problem was only identified the week before then ?
Yes I'm sure it had never occurred to the club before you posted your moan about STs not yet being on sale yet on here.....they'd probably forgotten all about them

Stop making excuses for them, most teams have had there tickets on sale for weeks to allow people to buy them at the last few home games.

You moaned about the ticketing system in place. Anderson got the job in January, looked at the ticketing, agreed there was a problem.

He's only had just over 3 months in the job and the whole system is being replaced in the next couple of weeks.

Only you could find a way to complain about something like that.

He joined early November !!!
I've been moaning about the system all year.
I've wasted hours chasing tickets and nothing is in place yet and all of a sudden it's hunky dory.

I'm not making excused for them but its clear that the reasons for the delay is getting the new ticketing system in place, we also didnt know untik last week which league we woukd be in. Not all clubs have their STs for sale yet, and quite a few that have onky went on sale in the last week or so. The club have said thry will be out in the next couple of weeks. You know this, and you know that sisu dont manage the club day to day, so this wont be down to them either. Just like wasps, its your mate Eastwood not Derek Richardson who runs the club day to day.

The same point stand, you would have to be a complete idiot to change ticketing systems in the middle of a season. Its highly likely something would go wrong and then you'd be the first on here complaining.

Your probably right.
It should work out okay just a little moan about the timing.

Good news is, this is now closed. Shop all stripped out and the unit is just an empty shell.

Could be it was only a temporary outlet of course, but I must have gone past a dozen times while it was open and there was not a soul in there.

Otis, is that City's old shop at the Ricoh?

(Haven't read all the thread and also not been around that side of the stadium last season)

Nope. They opened an outlet in Cathedral Lanes. Wasps stickers all over the place and Wasps merchandise and ticketing inside, plus Ricoh events too.

It's gone!! Yay!
