To prevent false Wembley ticket claims amongst fans (1 Viewer)

We would all get a ticket anyway, no need to save stubs e.c.t unless you wanted front row. Pretty sure they would release 40k to us if demand needed it.

Also I still don't know if Otis's OP is a wind up? lol

Why would you take it as sarcasm? You thought he was being sarcastic about Wasps so jumped in.

No I thought he was being sarcastic (and I still maintain he most likely was) by trying to ignore them.
Hence my remark, nothing to do with me thinking he's badmouthing them, more a case of me saying time to face up to reality, they are there I'm afraid.

But hey, put your own spin on it if you wish.

It wasn't bitter, mocking maybe, it's only a tin pot competition.

Mind you if my maths is correct its earned SISU £90K so far & if CCFC win it, SISU can transfer to their bank in the Cayman Islands a total of £290K. + any associated earnings.

Prize Money
Group Stages £10,000 per win & £5,000 per draw
Round Two £20,000 per win
Round Three £40,000 per win
Round Four £50,000 per win
Runners Up £50,000
Winners £100,000

SISU must be rubbing their hands with glee

I am at the prospect of watching my team at Wembley, can honestly say I haven't considered sisus perspective on things once. Not sure why a wasps supporter would be so worried about what they think.

Because this Wasps supporter is first and foremost a Coventry City supporter. There's far more Coventry City Fans go to Wasps games than you probably realise.

At least I admit it.

Still not really arsed about the trophy. Love a match with a good atmosphere though so if the numbers look good for the next game might get amongst it
Understand your sentiments but despite the low number I thought the atmosphere last night was pretty good. The lads played some nice football throughout the match that the crowd appreciated and responded too. Possibly having everyone crowded together also helped but it's still a bit weird looking across to the other stand and seeing it totally empty. Just another point must say 'hats off' to the 40-50 Brighton fans that made the trip last night, it couldn't have been much fun for them on the way home.

CVD, a little bit of trivia for you.

I've no idea how old you are, but I started watching CCFC when I was 11 in 1969.

The only time Coventry City have ever reached a European competition was the Fairs Cup in 1970-71.

I had a pendant from that era, which had a slogan. The slogan was 'Home or Away Coventry Ole' (Can any older fan confirm this for me)

Now I've had a look on the internet and I can't see a reference to this slogan anywhere, my support for CCFC goes way back.

Me? A wind-up? How on earth did the thought ever enter your mind?

how do you work that out? Or was it made up?

Damn, you tumbled me. Anyone can make things up, even Grendel

No one knows how much they have made or lost on this tin pot trophy, because they don't give out that type of detailed financial information.

Good grief every time I visit this site Nick is ruining almost every thread. He really is obsessed with our hedge fund or he has a vested interest.

Ah, it's somebody else who makes things up.

No, it is just annoying how the same people who like to come on here moaning and saying they won't go to games also don't seem to have much of a clue what they are on about or just straight up make things up to suit. It must be to get some rage up to mask over the fact they would be back like a shot if we were at the top end of the table and it's not to do with SISU.

Most stuff on this forum is made up...........

People speculate and assume maybe of course...............but that's all most folk have left when our owners are lying asset stripping fortune seekers who never publish accounts that can be truly picked apart and have no ambition for the football club at all.

So they're not lying asset stripping fortune seekers then !? Is that what you are saying Nick ?

Didn't you post about money being laundered the other day? Aren't others going on about how SISU have got prize money etc. Don't you keep posting about how it is all a tax fiddle which OSB also keeps rubbishing?

I am saying you make shit up and just given you 2 examples. We won't get into when you thought you were some sort of secret stalker pretending to know where I drank and didn't have a clue about that either.

Nice one, you turned my flippant comment back on me, well played.

Ah well, I was just trying to give you proof I'm a CCFC fan that goes back a long way.

My hope that one day, we will both be cheering on a SISU less CCFC to bigger & better things, for now I'll abstain.

In the meantime I've found something new and exciting to watch.

Thought I was what ? And some silly c**t actually liked your post ? I asked you if you drank in the Bull as you were regularly advising people they could drink and park there for matches. You're a bit unhinged if you think that is stalking. Truth is when you are cornered like most rats you start attacking and dishing out ridiculous insults to everyone.
I'm bored with you !

No, you tried to crack a joke about me being in there to be clever.

Where have I insulted?

You keep going on about tax and posted the other day about money laundering. What's that going to achieve?
