Hurrah! The Six Nations start today.

I don't watch much rugger but I love this competition. And it's also a sign that the Winter is nearly over.

Fantastic competition.

I think it'll be more competitive this year than it has been for many years!

Think/hope it'll go down to Ireland v England in the very last day and game to decide it.

But saying that Scotland may provide a shock today if Ireland aren't on the ball.

Also if France turn up today it won't be that straight forward for England, France have certainly gone for the more risky selections so will be at England from the off!

Anyway roll on the next couple of months and 18 games!!

Like the OP
love this competition and that it signifies Spring is just over the Horizon.
Don't know why but feel Scotland are a good outside bet for the whole competition, not Grand Slam.

So what about England
Might suffer today with some of the absent players.
Not straight forward I think.

England game isn't great - not very fluent; loads of penalties.

Nice to avoid the car crash that is our football team for a few Saturdays.

What a game today v Wales. Both teams giving it their all and it could have gone either way. But England edged it showing true grit and made me proud to be an Englishman. Pity my football team doesn't show that passion !
I missed the first half as ended up dozing on the sofa.
My god the intensity of the Welsh was unbelievable, much like Ireland V the All Blacks a month ago in Chicago.
It's starting to make me wonder the lengths extremes,Fitness /Diet /conditioning staff go to, so as to extract every joule of energy from the human body.
Absolutely staggering, really hope it's all natural and not getting to the levels of cleaning the blood etc.
Anyway Classic Six nations where England didn't panic and delivered.
I wonder If Scotland are capable of winning in Paris tomorrow, I believe they will and be the biggest test for England this year, I still think they'll win it.

It was a much better game than the France one. I thought Wales were unlucky, they played well. But that kick to centre field, so late in the game...
Yeah an error and as Jonathan Edwards said "shift it through one more phase and was it Halfpenny or Biggar would have been back in position to kick for touch.
It's hard to believe but apparently some Welsh fans question Biggars credentials.

I have no idea what that kick was about!? Kick to touch you kill a minute everyone resets Their positions England have to win the line out & have 90 seconds/ 1 play to make 40 metres.

Fine line at top level sport superb game & why for me Rugby tops Football personally!

I reckon Eddie Jones is brilliant. Typical Aussie speaks his mind and if it offends so what. He learns off other coaches from all sports, and isn't afraid to phone them to get advice etc.Breath of fresh air !

That was an interesting game. Bloody awful first half until England got their heads around the 'tackle only' Italian tactics.

Fair play to Italy they stifled England and stopped us from steamrolling them. Going to be another tough game verses Scotland but can see England edging it.

Good first half. This one is going to be close to the last minute.

Looking forward to seeing the Vunipola brothers at some stage tomorrow. Also good to see Nowell gets a start.

Ireland aren't themselves at the back
Wales have pretty much dominated from about 20 mins in.

As an Englishman living in Scotland I fucking hate that women and just want to punch her in the face. Repeatedly. Hopefully if she gets her way and we get a 2nd referendum we don't want she will lose again and the odious cow will fuck off back into the cess pitt she came from

So, here we are on the last day. England Ireland predictions? Obviously if England can reproduce the same form from last week it's a forgone conclusion but it could be tight if they're not at full steam.
