Why not share a favourite album with your fellow SBT folks. LP, CD or stream if need be. I will be playing this bad boy tomorrow once wife and kid have left for the day.

It sounds lovely on vinyl. Side one is quite mellow, classic Krautrock while they rock it up a bit on side two. Lovely record.

Couple of classics-Big Country greatest hits. Def Leppard Hysteria.
I guess that must be an era thing!

Never liked metal stuff from the 80s. I like 70s rock stuff though. Never really got into Big Country. I'm only aware of their hits. Are they on Spotify?

In my youth I used to often lock myself away in a darkened room and tune in to Space Ritual (Hawkwind) - anyway as you were

Yep-they certainly are! Best live band I've seen in their heyday!

Totally agree.

I just cannot believe it was 10 years ago.

I remeber being in Amsterdam in around 2009, I must have been about 17. Absutely off my tits dancing on a table to 'Kids' whilst pulling some crude moves on a Norwegian aupair.

I must have been abroad eleventy billion times since, but that distinct memory will never go away.

After doing nothing for fifteen years the last 20 has seen John Foxx being so prolific it's hard to keep up sometimes. This side project with the Maths is excellent.

I dug that out today and will give it a listen over the weekend. Little known fact their debut single Go Steady was produced by Pete Waterman if I recall correctly.
