Refusing to come to mediation!

Surely now even those with the largest SISU hating blinkers can now see what a fooking stitch up the WASPS & Council Ricoh deal was.

How we have a council who is not only actively anti-Coventry City but also anti-football!

How we have a council and its associated cronies that were all along seeking to disrupt our football club.

Their continued negativity towards our club and the underhand (often malicious and mostly lies) campaign that they have fought should reflect inward to their eternal shame.

There is absolutely no defending their behaviour-having just read Liverpool council's decision to back Everton (only 1 amongst many positive council backing Football team stories) I am sickened to keep hearing the same old shit from this C-Unit of a council.

Time to turn the screw!

I honestly don't understand how they've got away with it for so long.
This thing the other day too about ccfc playing behind closed doors for safety fears!
Where we're there once any single safety fears during the Sheff Utd pitch invasions and the Wycombe invasion??
Just making shit up to put pressure on ccfc.

I think your right. The screw has been turned on SISU, it's now CCC and W***S turn too

Is it not possible to have large Sisu hating blinkers but to be able to see that all other parties involved in this fiasco haven't helped either? You seem to say that people either blame Sisu or blame the council and Wasps. I think most can see fault lies with all parties. It seems clear to me that the stumbling block in any mediation and indeed any discussion on a new deal at the Ricoh is the threat of legal action. Would it not be possible as a sign of good faith that Sisu could end JR 2 before it begins particularly as it is harming CCFC so much. This would show how determined they are to turn over a new leaf. Is the olive leaf offered by one hand going to be taken while it is clear a gun is held in the other? If Joy is hurting that much at our plight it would seem a logical thing to do.

The council are under no obligation to attend any meeting at this stage. Why do want to paint this as a slap in the face of CCFC?
I can't believe that you really see this as a confrontational issue worth getting worked up about.
And what the fuck do Wasps have to do with this?
If you going to throw conspiracy theories about then try something that has some oundation.
Calling fans " Sisu haters" is a badge they can wear with pride,IMO but again why bring for or against the owners in to this?
CCC were never going to be moderators in this mediation, the time for them to join is when differences have been addressed and then they could have a role to play regarding planning permission.
You bring the Everton scenario in to play because it has been announced they have agreed on a new stadium site, what you don't say is that for the past 15 years they have been in dispute with LCC and were looking to move to Kirkby Council area. But that doesn't fit your agenda.
You may want to fit a stadium on a college playing field at Barker Butts and that may happen but don't hold your breath and if we end up evicted from the Ricoh and BPA doesn't happen and we are begging for a ground I know any sensible supporter will know where to apportion major part the blame and it won't be just at the feet of CCC.

If your neighbour was suing you and then asked if you would help him with regards giving him planning permission for his extension what would you say?
Its nothing like that, its business and in business companies that are taking legal action on one issue put it aside to do business on another.

One example off the top of my head. Apple are suing Samsung for billions. Guess who Apple have a contract with, agreed and signed years after the legal action started, to produce iPhone screens.

You're Being Sued: A Guide to Handling a Business Lawsuit

DO NOT: Communicate directly with the plaintiff
Many of our expert sources reminded business owners that anything they say regarding the lawsuit can be used against them. For this reason, you should not attempt to contact the plaintiff before you've thoroughly reviewed the suit. From there, all communications with the opposing side should be conducted through your attorney and the plaintiff's.

"Once a lawsuit has been filed, you should not communicate with the plaintiff at all," said John R. O'Brien, a Chicago-based attorney. "The time for talking things out and resolving issues amicably ended when they filed suit, so all communication should be through your company's attorney.

There seems to be a lot of pressure to drop JR2 from a lot of parties, makes me wonder if those parties feel (know) that there is some merit to it.

To me it seemed quite clear during JR1 that the council had been advised not to talk to SISU.

There was all this pressure first time round as well.
Turns out it was just so people could try and save wasting time and money on something pointless.

our council truly are a bunch of absolute wankers and I have no doubt if we get new owners they will find them difficult if not impossible to work with.
However, in order to find out if that's true or not we need rid of sisu first otherwise it's just conjecture.

Fook me some people I do worry about.

If I rented a property at an extortionate rate that left me bankrupt twice and the landlord refused to listen to a reduction But told me I could buy it for 40 years and then gave it to some bloke from London for half the price for 250 years I'd feel like suing.

Fook me I do worry about some people on here.

What about if you and the landlord agreed on a reduction, but then your mum told you not to do the deal, and said that if you moved out for a bit it would work out for the best?

So for the millionth time Sisu distress CCC to get the stadium for fook all.
CCC have a duty to 360 000 rate payers whom 5500 are season ticket holders. Err now that leaves 354 500 tax payers with no vested interest in CCFC. They couldnt give a fook about what happens but turn up at Wembley when it suits.
Sisu rubbed everyone up the wrong way, agreed a £330k a year deal but reneged. They knew the £1.2M deal per year before they took everyone's shares.
Then its the "never returning to the Ricoh again" threat that left CCC with no option with a huge 32600 seater white elephant of a stadium.
Wasps out played Sisu and here we are. No point complaining about deals when Sisu never wanted to pay a fair price to the rate payers of the City whos money is invested in the bricks and mortar.
Sad but now no one wants to deal with them as they are toxic and about to fall on their sword. They are about £30M down and grasping at straws.........
Oh and Fisher said Robins came back as he is on board about the Butts prospect happening. Fook me thin ice there and wont be long before he fooks off again looking for a more secure job!

Samsung and Apple make money from the deal. So they are both happy with it.

I haven't seen you have a go at the CRFC boss. He has said that he wants an end to legal action between CCC and SISU before he will take it further. But he has nothing to do with what has happened previously.

So do I TBH.
Some believe that shit:)
What if I didn't actually want it, so I offered less than the man from London?

If I rented a property and complained about the rent, but didn't spend 15 times that amount on servants then I doubt anyone would agree that the rent bankrupted me. I also worry about some people on here.

And sort what out?

Who knows, if they sit around a table they might even discuss the legal action also.

It would be a start wouldn't it if they all got there? What's the issue with calling out SISU, Wasps and CCC to try and sort things out?

Nobody seems to be that fussed when Duggins contradicts himself in public. 1 minute he has no influence, the next he does if SISU pay up, then he doesn't again.

I don't see a problem with it. But as Fisher said all trust is lost. CCC got rid of the Ricoh to Wasps because all trust was lost with SISU. Now they don't have to deal with them unless in a professional way. And who could blame them with the continuing legal crap. Even CRFC won't deal with us unless it ends.

Why would anybody be against the council getting around the table with an independent mediator to try and sort stuff out?
.... because they can't sort anything out until they know what Sisu want?
Mind you that's normally done by a planning application.
Once they put that in we can 'all' make sure the council makes the right decision for the good of the club.

CRFC are already dealing with us, there is already a partnership there.

Surely that's the idea for going to mediation? To discuss it all?

All of this "can't talk because of JR". How did they agree a return to the Ricoh? Why could they talk then?

Get them all in a room with independents there, don't let any of them out until something is sorted.
