Re the lack of contracts, it can't really have helped to have rotated three managers since Mowbrays exit.

It's only the last 10 games or so.

I think he'd be great in league 2 but fear he will be offered a chance none of us would turn down

He'll stay.

Look at his goal on the highlights. Great feet interchange and a perfect finish. The commentators were waxing lyrical.

He has scored a few individual goals of real quality yet gets little adulation compared to Stevenson (shocking today), Haynes, Bigi etc. He is a real prospect compared to them.

He may be a huge player next season.

Yes but people were trying to push him forward too soon like end of last season. He is just starting to fulfil his promise, but we should still not expect too much just yet, but a fine prospect.

Stevenson is still very young. Bigi was actually immense in the final although you won't admit it. Also Haynes had a mature game.

There is a lot of promise in this squad. People forget how young they are. Yes it has been a dreadful season, but that doesn't mean some of this squad can't take us forward.

The squad will have its wage bill reduced significantly. Then there is the added challenge as well of having to bring in new players.

So players have to leave. The players on contract include some who definitely will be high earners such as Beavon and Reid. If they stay it's impossible to retain the players out of contract.

The squad loses league games. It's been found wanting in every department.

Some contracted players have to leave and if they don't then what does robins do? He can retain a fraction of the outgoers even if they agree a new deal.

Yes mate. The bastard smiling from ear to ear and John Sillett sat directly behind him. Would love to have been in JS's seat yesterday:punch:

But at some point we have to start building a team. Nobody looks good in a relegation side but that doesn't mean there are not good players in there or players who aren't going to develop.

Stokes, Turnbull, Willis, Haynes, Harries, Bigi, Stevenson, G Thomas and Reid would be a good nucleus to start around.

I would also try and keep Beavon.

Yes they have weaknesses, but all have development potential.

I would keep one of either Burge or RCC and add an experienced keeper.

We have to try and win League 2 and start showing commitment to the future. We need to invest in a management and football philosophy, a vision players and fans can buy into. It time to start the climb and halt the free fall. For me Fisher doesn't have the capability or managerial credentials to lead that. If I were Joy I would start the revolution with his head.
