I went to a gig at the Pyramids once a few years back, think it was Pigeon Detectives or Feeder. Anyway, arrived at 8pm at night, thinking parking charges were applicable to 6pm. Ended up with a £60 ticket. Sharks.

Yep really harsh, all along the sea front too.

was down for a week and mercifully found one spot on the 3rd day opposite the Spinnaker Tower that is temporarily free whilst building work goes on

Is that on the road between Gunwharf and the Historic Dockyards?

The Still and West - great pub

Thats the badger, yep agreed lovely pub, great views of the ships coming and going too.

For a city that was similarly flattened during the war, Portsmouth has a lot going for it. granted there are some proper shabby areas but so much to do and see.

I was taking the kids around a farm park the day that Pompey secured promotion and you could hear all the fans going nuts in all the pubs around it, really loud they were.

I remember one of my mates. A Walsall nutter (& I mean nutter!) telling me "5 coaches, 2 trains & however many cars - & they knocked shit out of every one of us!" Lol
For a number of years until I moved down here I was glad we never had to play them!

Once on a holiday to Croatia my father in law and a friend had a picture of Sisu out taken on a boat. Lots of smiles and laughter later we realised the translation was something like 'boobs out' oops!!

I think I saw one at the Ricoh when I was having a piss too, no idea how they got it up there. They either put their foot in the urinal or had a ladder!
