You guys moan that the stadium lacks a look for CCFC yet don't want to commit to a long term deal that would enable us to do that.

Even under a long term deal I can't see wasp allowing us to personalise it. Its their stadium and their "We are Wasps" brand and identity is important to them. Yes, the seats are sky blue but little by little their are rebranding the stadium, the seats will also happen one day. I nipped into decathlon today and noticed they have now painted all the turnstyle entrances black now.

I wonder if they will be respectful enough to take their flags down before we play on the 2nd?

So move to Cornwall and the locals would support CCFC.?
I can see more clubs going out of business over the next few years and that will mean empty stadiums sat around the country. What makes a move to one of them different to Wasps moving here? Fisher would spin exactly the same story that Wasps did in moving here.
Not saying I think it would happen and I certainly wouldn't support it but if you apply the same logic a lot of people do to Wasps move then surely people would be all for it?
Even under a long term deal I can't see wasp allowing us to personalise it.
They won't allow us to do anything just on our matchday that is removed immediately afterwards so the idea that they'd let us do something permanent is crazy.

Liberty Stadium shows how it can be decorated for both Ospreys and Swansea City.
They even share the club shop.
There is no certainty that with a long term deal that Wasps would not be accommodating around the stadium.
Until Sisu start thinking about what's best for the club we will never know.
As I said with the match day shop "Put the pasting table away and ask them about one of the empty outlets"

Swansea and ospreys are joint owners of the stadium company, they were also well established local clubs. Wasps need their strong branding everywhere to compensate for only being here 2 years and to make them identifyable in order to attract customers and sponsors.

There is not certainty that wasps will be accommodating around thr stadium no matter how many times you say " all we have to do is ask ".

Pretty sure wasps had initially rejected a request to us an empty outlet for our shop when we first asked them - I remember reading it and it being discussed here as part of the CSG minutes.

You believe what you want, but its exactly what got us here.
At some point Sisu will realise that they need to work with Wasps.
I just hope that we are still around to see it.

Wasps moved a premier league Rugby Club who are now joint top playing to better crowds than where they were.

Seems to be working well on the sporting and crowd side.

Do you think that Tim will move us to one of these empty stadia in a few years as a League 2 or Conference side? We are nothing like Wasps.

Our club is toxic. No amount of spin would convince people to follow the team to another city, and which city would think they were gaining anything by having us as a SISU led failed investment with a history of stadium problems rolling into their city?

No chance of us being moved to another city.

So we have people on here pushing the idea of moving into a stadium outside Coventry as the only thing we can do ?
We have people on here saying that Wasps wont give us anything but we have yet to get into a position to ask ?
Two things touted by Sisu over the years.
Don't fight their battles, look for the best way forward and stop giving Sisu oxygen.

Who is pushing the idea that we should move to a stadium outside Coventry?

I think its universally accepted our short to medium term future (5-10 years) at the very least is at the Ricoh. I accept this, but I also believe wasps won't be particularly accommodating and won't allow us to personalise the stadium. We have been in a position to ask, then wasps slammed the door firmly shut.

That's not fighting sisu's battles for them. They are my own opinions, of which I am wholly entitled. This "you're fighting sisu's battles" is just a lazy throwaway soundbite. I would feel the same regardless of whether sisu are here or that we get taken over tomorrow by some Chinese billionnaire. Selling the Ricoh to wasps has completely shafted us.

Do I think our short to medium term future (5-10 years) is at the Ricoh? Yes I do.

Do I think wasps will give us a cheap deal, access to revenues and allow us to personalise the stadium? No, no I don't.

Anderson was in négociations with Wasps, they then decided they would no longer talk to the club. Its hardly a sign of being happy to work together.

Talks are on hold until Sisu stop fighting everybody,
No use debating if you can't see why a long term deal can't be done, including personalisation of stadium, while court battles effecting Wasps are going on.
As it stands, Wasps will just wait until end of current deal and then offer another one that will probably quadruple the current figure.

You've been asked before but never answered. Why can't a deal be done while SISU, not CCFC, are taking legal action against CCC, not Wasps?

Even if it was CCFC taking action against Wasps plenty of companies continue to work together whilst legal action is taking place.

If the legal action was the issue why even start those talks?

There were a lot of points to discuss (17?) and I would guess talk of not being there would have a bearing on what the deal would be.

Anderson : What access will we have to other incomes and can we buy into them incomes ?
Wasps : How long are you here for?
Anderson : (Looking at new Stadium schematic) I don't know, it depends on the new stadium we will be building.
Wasps : Are you prepared to buy into the facilities over 10 years so you can get a percentage access to the incomes ?
Anderson : Not really as I don't know where we will be in 10 years.
Anderson : How about we pay a rent of £100K a year until further notice?
Wasps : We can't work it out yet as Sisu are taking us to court about the deal we did with CCC. It's unlikely but if the outcome is that we have to pay more for the stadium we may have to increase any agreed figure.
Anderson : Err. Moving onto point 14. We would like access to stadium sponsorship should we ever get to the PL.
Wasps : Yes you can have 50% when in the PL. Any plan to get there and how long do you estimate ?
Anderson : Err (Consults TF notes on breakeven). Moving onto Point 15.
Anderson : We would like to personalise the stadium so it looks like ours on match days. We would like the seats to be a different colour as it confuses the players.
Wasps : How about Black and yellow ?
Anderson : Ideal. Can we utilise the Wasps shop to transfer our current shop into it ?
Wasps : Of course. We have just decorated the back showroom and the paste table has been left by the checkout. .
Anderson : Brilliant, we have experience of this.Oh hold on we have outsourced that income.
Anderson : Do you have a chair that we can transfer the club ticket computer onto ? Oh hold on we have outsourced that income, forget it.
Anderson : Can we personalise the back of the East stand so it looks like ours ?
Wasps : I don't think there is much room to be honest unless you want to modify the walls of remembrance and the garden of remembrance. To be honest I can't believe Wasps fans have not complained about this.
Anderson : To be honest most the names on that wall don't come anymore. Leave the garden of remembrance though as Joy has requested we place the ashes of CCFC there in 2018.

Have you just posted a conversation that has taken place entirely in your head. Think we have a winner for most mental post of the year.

Actually the conversation was a lot shorter. CCFC wanted a shoet term deal and wasps wanted the club to sign a longer term of 10 years plus with no severance clause and a known fee for two years. The fee was sevenfold what it is now and renegotiable two years later - by wasps.

Nice try. Next time you see your mates there show them this and see if they deny it.

You may have quoted the Wasps starting position there. Not bad for an uneducated guess.
The CCFC starting position was free rent and access to 50% of 365 day incomes.
The deal will be somewhere in between taking advantage of any rises and falls in both Wasps and CCFC incomes.
A win win for both CCFC and Wasps.
Now, lets get back to enjoying the football and the rugby.

I assume you had a call from your boss and he's told you to post that or the car park income is off next season.

Get him to put that your version is true in writing will you? I dint think you will get an answer.

The lies you tell on here is shameful.

Source which oddly enough a totally random poster on here also backed up. Also a PM from another poster said the same

At least you finally acknowledge the legal action talk was bollocks.

That's something I suppose.

Another posted replied to back my point up. No one has concurred your version at all have they?

Oh and on another matter regarding the stadium I've Pm'd several posters on here to tell them exactly what the situation is regarding that which - oddly enough - is a million miles away from what you claim.

Still - as I say - at least you've confirmed that legal action is a smokescreen from wasps. Even old dongle will now have to accept that is a bullshit line from wasps.

I got mine from the horses mouth.
I've hardly said any detail on this board as their is no reason to.
I don't care what you know or don't know.
Common sense will tell you the best deal will not be made for CCFC while Sisu are in the courts (I can understand why you struggle).
