Reckon the 'Original' has it BBR. :)
The original has to be one of my favourite ever songs. From the intro all the way through its a pop/rock classic. Used to be on the jukebox and played in clubs all the time in 1970's. But the Medics do it justice I feel. Hear they still tour and Spirit In The Sky is the most asked for live track !

The man in the end bed being sick. The one next to me moaning with his wife and refusing treatment. The bloke opposite snoring and the bloke next to him watching Dad's Army at full volume.

I have closed all the curtains around my bed like a miserable bastard. Can't wait to go into my own room. Oh I'll be listening to a bit of Pink Floyd in a bit.

Just belt something random out, Vengaboys or something.

Edit. Yogi Bear I posted above would be better.

12" version of Spacer by Sheila B Devotion. Fab.

You couldn't beat Rogers and Edwards' guitar and bass combo.

Went in a charity shop and bought a cracking CD titled Driving Rock got some great tracks on it. Canned Heat,Yardbirds, Animals, and many more. And although not everybody's cup of tea bought Sleaford Mods latest album. I find them funny and like their words etc. So this week I've listened to Dylan and now Sleaford Mods, now that's what you call variety !

Wall St Shuffle by 10 CC on Jools Holland, one of my early singles performed timelessly.
Listened to a lot tonight finishing with The Man by Aloe Black, which is basically a huge sample of Billy Pauls version of Elton John's Your Song. B-)

I used to love 10CC as well. I do have a problem though with single artists representing themselves as the whole band they used to form part of.

10CC was a band of 4 members. 2 left and it was then acceptable for Stewart and Goldman to continue as the band and carry it forwards.

Stewart then left though. I just can't see how one single member of a band can still be the band. He wasn't even the main member. It was a team effort, all of equal stature.

More acceptable if the main man or woman goes on to carry the band on and continue, but Gouldman was just a single quarter of 10CC.

I find it a bit of a shame.

Didn't know that he wrote Bus Stop for the Hollies and For Your Love by the Yardbirds. Watched them last night on Jools Holland they were okay I thought but liked them in the 70's a lot more. It's like watching a footballer that was once a great player but through time he's not as good as he once was ?

The lead single Progress with the singer from Camera Obscura is brilliant. Great live as well. will be seeing them in September.
