Best thing he did was take out Thomas! Sign him up :D

I have never understood this 'going back to re-sign ex players'. They were around the club when we were crap. We are not much better now; let's sign something new. Something we haven't seen before!

Next we'll be getting linked with Vicente Engonga and Juan Sara!

I kind of agree.

But if it's a player from our Championship days and they are still capable of putting a shift in we should look at each player individually. It is a massive drop from the Championship to Division 4.

I can't remember much about him as a footballer. I would guess he's capable enough to play at the level we are in next season.

I know he's not being brought in to score goals but scored twice in 134 games since he left us.played a full season for a team that weren't much better than us last season

I don't think it will work for him here purely as he has history.
Must be a plethora of similar players out there to go for.

Remember that game very well. Went with two of my brothers who are Leicester supporters and other members of my family. They came in with us. Some around us didn't like them being in with us until we equalised

Ended up having a stunning night back in Coventry. Journey back to Coventry was very eventful as well. Not much I can say on an open forum though :emoji_innocent:

See the CET have run this 'story' this morning. Hope it's not a 'goer'. Forgetting how good/not good Deegan is, we cannot afford to carry a player with a disciplinary record like his. We would effectively have him missing through suspensions for a period, notwithstanding any injuries he may be out for- therefore it is a no brainer NO from me.

With Doyle brought in and Bigi still in talks, i don't see what Deegan can add, we also have Stevenson, Shipley and Bayliss that will be part of most of the squad next year. Even Reilly would be a better option, if you are looking for that type of player.

One Juan Sara. There's only one Juan Sara...

Actually, I don't remember him being that bad, but then I don't remember what I had for breakfast these days. :)

Scored a last minute equaliser against Forest away and Jesus loved him. That's about it.

Another away day we was completely out played until his 89th ish minute goal.
"Jesus loves you" never forget it. Only scored 1 goal I think in his loan spell.
Think Des Walker went off injured after 3 mins also?

Yup. I was there for that game. We were battered from pillar to post all game. Forest hit the woodwork, had goals disallowed and missed a hatful of easy chances then Sara equalised. Could even have won it in injury time. Cracking goal celebration which sparked a seat hurtling over the edge from some Forest idiot in the shelf above us. Nobody hit thank Gawd. A game we should have lost at least 6-0 on the balance of play.

Bruised both shins celebrating that goal & ended up 3 rows in front of where I was standing!

Was a great day nicking a point away from home when we were absolutely battered!!

One of the worst players I've ever seen for us, and that's saying something.

Made no impact at all, in fact worse than that he was fucking useless in all aspects of the game. Seems like a complete prick too.

In short, I'm not onboard with this one.

Bring back Roy O'Donovan! He's in exile in Australia playing for the Newcastle Jets. Won't ask for much! His Missus might though.
Aye, his missus used to troll on twitter/facebook saying "thanks for paying for our holidays/house/car" etc. to some people trolling O'donovan himself, calling him shite (which he was toby fayre)
