Robins said once he heard of our plans, he signed. What is going on??

More beneath the surface, sisu realising that to drop out of the league is business suicide or maybe robins just a better manager than the others!! Don't know but I am optimistic going into this season more than I can remember in the last 3 years.

I think it's really positive that MR has gone out and started doing business right away. It's great news IMO, especially as it shows that the lessons of last season's summer transfer window fiasco have seemingly been learned.

So, Champions League the year after next?
that is pretty far fetched mate

we would need to get promoted league 2, league 1,championship which would take 3 years. then we would have to hit top 4 in prem. 4 years minimum

a much more realistic view is win league cup this year, win europa next year

so to sum up we can(and probably will) be in the champions league in 3 years

It's so nice to get the feeling that we have an actual transfer strategy beyond just waiting until the middle of August to take a punt on some loan signings.

Can't agree more it must give confidence to the rest of the players and any potential new recruits that there is a plan. As for loan signings not sure theey answer any questions in the medium term

Says to the likes of Stokes DKE, and George Thomas that we mean business unlike previous preseasons in recent times.
May just be enough to convince them to sign another deal.

watching luton v blackpool last night , and the shocking defending from two top six sides, its so important to get at least a couple of talented strikers to exploit these shit defences

Does anybody know if he is right or left footed? According to Football Manager (not always reliable) he is left footed. This probably means that we're expecting Turnbull, Stokes or Harries to leave (possibly two of them).

Left footed, can play left back too as a side position. Harries or Turnbull he is the likely replacement for

Harries was interesting Liverpool and Spurs in January. Another poster said Villa took him on trial too.

Doubt he'll be here next season but should net £1m+. Same as Stevenson.
