No RCC in there, Turnbull or Reid.

Confirms the trialists though and good to see Ponticelli.

Oh, George Thomas is going too..

I'm surprised Thomas is going, also a bit surprised Camwell isn't, his Dad reckons he was right pissed off about it

I don't think a loan out would be a massive issue and would help him, we have 2 LBs in front of him at the minute.

He must be a bit serious about the trialists though to be taking them and not players like Camwell and RCC though. Again he has 2 goalies going.

Nigel Camwell basically said "Chris was incredibly unhappy when he saw it"

I'd be pissed off aswell if I wanted to move to Stoke, they then decide they are no longer interested in me and I have to sign a new contract with city instead...

Didn't Robins say that while he wasn't playing for us he couldn't "eat at our table" or something? Thomas that is.

What happens if he flies out and breaks his leg in Spain in a friendly and he isn't contracted to us?*

Hope it doesn't by the way!

No Cian Harries..;)

Didn't spot that. Could any of them be carrying knocks?

Would anybody be that bothered if the players not included weren't in plans for the season with RCC, Reid and Turnbull outgoing but keeping Thomas?

Oh dear. Poor little professional footballers, eh? They do have a terrible time of it.

Jeez one game for 1st team and they think theyve made it.
He will be lurking about the top bar in Jumpin Jacks next.

(Do the "ballers" still do that? Not actual footballers, just people who play for teams like Copsewood but stroll round like they play for Chelsea with a bottle of Moet that they have had for about 4 hours and is probably boiling or empty).

24 man squad to Spain seems reasonable, slightly irked about Cian Harries not being included, a kid with un-doubted potential, but again it appears another manager is not wanting to take a punt on the lad.

The remaining players I can sort of understand being excluded from the squad, it would suggest Robins knows his squad and also the players he doesn't want from the squad he inherited.

The order of the names is very interesting. I would interpret is as Moorhouse, Jones, McNulty and Thomas on the flanks. Devon KE and Vincetti no.10s. Beavon, Biamou and Ponticelli alone up top. If we're going with a 4-3-2-1. Then you have Kelly, Doyle, Lussey and Stevenson CMs
