3 Year deal apparently. Be interesting to see what the fee would be, although we will never find out.

Decent move for him, better to be in the U23's of a premier league club than the U23's here.

A decent talent, his talent will shine brighter in Swansea then it will here.

Yeah not too concerned about this. Before you know it he'll be joining Crawley or someone on a loan.

Don't think he'll ever get anywhere near the Swansea first team. Good luck to him though.

I'm alright with this. Knowing that some players would be leaving this summer, this seems like quite a good for move for him and is also one that hasn't left a big hole in our first team picture at the same time.

short term i agree but long term we lose another talent that may well go for big bucks in 2-3 years

would have liked to see him play last year and this year but oh well. as long as we get promoted thats all that matters.

Good luck to him, I think he has a good chance of making it. Anybody heard any news on the fee? Perhaps we've sorted something out where we get a loan or two.

lol positive spin as always from torch

Whatever. Genuinely not concerned about losing Harries. He's hardly a cornerstone of the team. We need physicality to get out of L2 and I don't think he would have helped the cause too much.

Harries started I think 6 league games last year. He's hardly the next Bobby Moore so let's not pretend he is and most people commenting will have seen very little of him. Other than the start of the season I certainly haven't.

Wouldn't say gutted bit extremely disappointed another academy player out the door before we've barely seen him kick a ball.

Doesn't look promising for the next crop of players coming through, they will either be crap or sold before they are 19.

Isn't that a bullshit account? I'd be very happy with £1m if true
I thought it was but he's got a few deals bang on of late, I'd still believe it when its official.

agree sky blue bear

although anything close to 1m with add ons would be sweet

we still need 3 or 4 players, hope robins gets on the case again soon

Heard £1 million being thrown about all over social media, not just from the bogus John Harriot account. If that figure is correct, at least half of it needs to be reinvested in the team. With Turnbull and Reid likely to depart we still need 2 CB's, two AM's and a ST.

A mate at work was talking to cian privately on twitter last week and said it was a million pounds transfer fee.So hopefully some funds for a striker or paying Shitsu court costs.

Not sour grapes just because he's gone but I really don't understand what position he will end up playing. Definitely not a defender, he is a great passer so could be a defensive midfielder but I don't think he's mobile enough for that position. Wish him well though.

I hear everyone's bubbling question, "Robo, how many players are left from the class of 14/15 that progressed from the academy?"

Well...

Maddison - Gone
Lawton - Gone
Finch - Gone
Harries - Gone
Dion Kelly-Evans - Still on the books
Devon Kelly-Evans - Still on the books
Thomas - Out of contract
Stevenson - Still on the books
Spence - Gone

One of the most promising U18's teams I have watched for CCFC and most never really got a big chance in the first team, other than a few..

He may develop into a good player but Liverpool obviously don't think so.

Can't see much of that getting reinvested into the side but should help fund jr 2 the appeal ;)

Maybe this will allow us to up our offer for GT

I highly doubt that will be the case. The club are extremely strict with wages and are likely to have a cap system in place - it's in place for a reason. The club would have offered what it can, if GT's demands don't align with the clubs', then that will be that.
