U18s go down 2-1 to Hull in their opening game. Few players out with injury. McMahon with the goal

U16s beat Hull 6-1
Heard someone talking about the U18 game yesterday when at the Ricoh-said Hull were the better team and Cov had nothing up front?

I didn't go myself but told the same from someone who was there. Will be a challenging season I think, last years group was really strong (form bulk of U23s side this season as 18 year olds) and most of the goals came from Ponticelli and Finn who are professionals now

That's where I was coming from-goals may be a problem(as that chap was saying) now that JP has stepped up.

U23s against Leeds looking to build on their 100% record from their opening two games (1pm):

Addai, Hickman, Ford, Thompson, Camwell, Maycock (C), Bayliss, Shipley, Dev Kelly-Evans, Ponticelli, Thomas

Bench: Naylor (GK), Finn, Sayoud, Leahy

6 of last seasons U18s starting.

No DiKE possibly part of first team squad tomorrow or loan move confirmed soon?

3 out of 3 for the U23s, played the last 10 minutes with 10 men because of Kwame injury. Majority of last years U18 side who dominated their league now performing well and winning games at the level up with probably the youngest squad in the league.

3 goals in 3 games for Ponticelli. Hopefully might get a start against Shrewsbury on Tuesday with Kwame seemingly injured again

If it was a head injury Kwame is likely to be stood down for a week at least
