Hope we get the first semi final. Think its a big advantage to get the extra time to rest before the final. Should be a cracking atmosphere with the Bears in the mix.

I never have understood why Dernbach is rated a good one day bowler. He has always when I've seen him been a disaster.

The tactics in changing the batting worked well.

Didn't he have a good reputation as a 'death' bowler with his 90mph yorkers? One trick pony I think and probably living on reputation only now.

1 in 20 it'll come off for him and he will be a match winner usually on sky, so used to get hyped up by 'Mr Surrey' Charles Coalville back in the day but he's an awful bowler who tries to be too smart!

He did
Now lobs down 65mph cutters which go down the leg side or sit up to be hammered away!

Should have just stick to what he was good at fast Yorkers or those useful full back of the hand slower balls every now and again

I am sure finch would have caught the one that Burns didn't catch so hopefully a lesson learned.

Superb chase from the bears (COUGH Warwickshire bears COUGH!). When i seen their total I didn't think we had the ability to chase that amount. Excellent performance

Another day another load of rubbish win toss and bat 178/8 thanks to Stone and Patel, no runs for Bell again and no Hain in the side are they resting players for Saturday?

Cracking inns by Pollock no fear at all!
Should have got 190 you'd hope at 6 overs in with the early wickets the bears can see it home need Rudolph out asap!

Definitely should have got more but a decent start with the ball. If Glamorgan can bat through could be in for a tight finish.

That should be that!

Now to see who the Bears will face in the final! Notts or Hants will go into the final as favourites but I wouldn't write the Bears off as they've shown all season in this comp if they click they're some force!

Hopefully a bit of success in this competition won't mask the bigger problems they face. Seemed to happen a couple of season back, big win on finals days and everything else was forgotten about.

Yep agree good article by George Dobell on cricinfo about the season etc

At least they've started recruiting and Sibley, Hose & Stone all seem confident lads that'll add something, be interesting to see how Rhodes does when he joins from yorks.

Likes of Pollock, Lamb & Thomason all stepping up at times is a bonus!

How long was that in the air for! Thought they were going to run in to each other and mess it up.

Nice break now, hopefully all refreshed for the final later.

I think they have blown this. Still only a quarter of the way through, but they are really struggling to even time the ball properly and losing Pollock was a massive blow.
