It's the fact that he's implying cause their black they have Ebola?
Also the comment to other player where he asks how many times she has been to jail, stereotyping about all black people have been to jail type thing
They were travelling to the game from Nigeria where there had been an outbreak. That 2nd comment i've not read but it does sound dodgy. I even get the issue over the Lukaku chant as it's a racial stereotype but that Ebola comment just sounds like a shit joke to me.

Apparently new information regarding the investigation along with new evidence has been given to the FA.
Bit early to say I told you so ;) but seriously will be interesting to find out what the new evidence is. And just shows that the FA is run so poorly, with a lack of action at the time of the initial claim.

I suppose it depends on the context of how he said it which I guess we will never know.

It's probably had to go through ten committees before the comment

Not bothered about Sam but it is the top job being done by a yes man who has had a whole career of failure and is famous for missing a penalty also a former villa scum bag who made comments about Coventry
Ha, you really are a miserable sod at times!
What comments did he make about Cov?

F off not at times all the time think it was something about it being a good place to drive through or past. He also missed that penalty and then made money from the pizza ad

Couldn't care less about the villa scumbag shit and the Coventry comments be childish to hold a grudge over that.
But I completely agree about his career and giving it to a yes man.
It seems to be a thing throughout the set up I mean for god sake. Boothroyd as u21's manager he got sacked in league 2 his last job before that. And it's these men bringing our best talent through and being expected to succeed really.

The Sam thing annoys me because he had actually aren't the job, he has always achieved the results expected of him at clubs, and he might not have had us playing pretty, but he would of had us winning games of football

Boothroyd is a truely bizarre appointment

Because they're black, or because they're from Africa ?

Yep from his time at Bristol academy, with regards to safeguarding there!
Apparently still investigations the Aluko situation, but they must be worried about it if as you say they have been digging around 4 years after his appointment?

Probably started digging once this all started as they will have wanted something on him.

All this getting women's football into the public eye just not in a good way unfortunately

This is just getting weirder. This new stuff is nothing to do with racism or bullying as was being claimed perviously. This is safeguarding which given it concerns a time when he was manager of an U18 side opens a lot of questions. But then if you look at the quote from the FA it makes even less sense:
FA said:
I have to say it is the most awkward and complicated issue I have ever dealt with, in 2014, there was a safeguarding-related complaint made about Mark when he was coach at Bristol academy. He had been FA employee for just a few months at that point. There was a full investigation, a proper investigation, an assessment process and when the report concluded in March 2015 he was deemed not to be a safeguarding risk. There are different allegations about different things which is why we’re talking in the plural, some could be categorised as trivial and some as very serious.
So, as with the current allegations, there was an investigation and no action taken. This investigation would have been known to the FA when they gave him the England job.

The obvious questions is who has been digging into his past and why along with if this was investigated at the time and not an issue how can he be sacked from a different job for it now?

When you hear about it occuring in English cricket and English cycling, why would anyone doubt it could occur in women's football?
I don't think anyone is saying it is impossible for their to be bullying or racism in womens football. More that its a bit odd that a player who wasn't even present when the alleged offence occurred decided to bring it up 18 months later. And of course the fact that the meeting in question was videoed and the tape has been looked at by a barrister who decided it wasn't worth investigating any further as, from the recording of the meeting, the incident clearly didn't happen.

Or maybe they like the odd skeleton in the cupboard to help with removal later on.

This sounds like it could really damage his future.

Sounds as if he shagged a player
Thats what it sounds like but what does 'There are different allegations about different things which is why we’re talking in the plural, some could be categorised as trivial and some as very serious.', different girls?

Seems very odd that this would have been known about, investigated and then him not only cleared to continue but given the England job.

Not odd at all! Remember Jimmy Savile? This is par for the course, the powerful are believed, the powerless are not.
He's gone and good riddance. Let's hope they can find a good manager to replace him. Preferably a woman.

Well tbf, Sam Allardyce left over something even smaller, so if it is true then I don't think there is much choice but to leave, out of consistency.
That's what i mean though... his indescretion should have been met with a punishment short of a full sacking.

You live in a very binary world, everything either seems to be fantastic or terrible.

This is, we are told, nothing to do with the bullying allegations.
Martin Glenn FA Chief Exec said:
The concerns Eni Aluko raised were about perceived bullying and perceived racism. We have investigated those properly, there have been two separate investigations actually which have broadly concluded there's no systematic evidence for that.

This is a different issue, this is about his conduct before his time at the FA which we judge just isn't consistent with the standards that an FA employee needs to show.

In 2014 there were concerns raised about Mark's time at Bristol Academy. These were investigated by the FA's safeguarding unit and Mark was cleared in terms of his suitability to continue in football in early 2015.

Let's be clear, Mark is not deemed to be a safeguarding threat in football. Mark is absolutely clear to work as a coach in football.
Bristol Academy said:
In 2014 the club was made aware of the FA's investigation into allegations surrounding Mark Sampson.

Bristol Academy Women co-operated fully with that investigation, which found that Mark Sampson did not pose a safeguarding risk working in the game. The club has had no further contact from the FA on this subject in the intervening years.
Something just seems off with the whole thing. Put yourself in Sampson's situation. In your old job you were accused of something, it was investigated and you were cleared. Its never been mentioned since.
You've moved to a new job where your employer is aware of the past allegation. There are two new allegations on a separate issue. Both are investigated and you are cleared.
You're then sacked from your current job over an issue at your old job which has had no further investigation since you were cleared. Seem fair?

How can someone be sacked over a safeguarding issue but then free to continue the same job elsewhere? If the safeguarding issue stacks up then surely he's now a risk?

That was a proper stitch up. Even the FA admitted what he said was 'a factual, correct statement around the laws of the English game and having third-party ownership'.
