I'm just pleased we haven't got soemone like Man City away. A 10-0 pasting wouldn't have done the players confidence any good going back into the more important league games.

Plus the players won't be having half an eye on their 'big day out' during the more important league games.

The league games are more important than this sideshow. It's a giggle, but it's a sideshow.

Their fans are buzzing about this, home match and all see it as an easy win

[Albion] Coventry at HOME

To be fair if it were the other way round, we would probably feel the same.

Thought the comments were pretty fair, and some of the SISU out support showed a bit of class from fans who have been through it themselves in the past. I had forgotten what they went through, so to see where they are now gives me hope that one day we might get there too.

Good draw, if only for tomorrow night.

If it was Man City, or Spurs at Wembley, or Man U or Chelsea, that's all everyone would be talking about and I bet the players too. A big distraction

This is now a nothing to see here, move along, which is perfect for focus on tomorrow night if nowt else.

Their fans seem confident of a win and also appear keen to support any SISU out campaign we might want to roll out (though of course, we might all be concentrating on the cup). Appears we will get around just under 5,000 tickets.

5 out of the 8 ties wil be on tv.

Cant see West Brom vs Southampton being on tv or Sheffield Wednesday v Notts County/Swansea or Leicester v Sheffield United
Are you sure about that? I asked before and don't think I got an answer.

You sure it is 5 out of 8. Might well have been in previous rounds, but now we are only down to 8 ties.

Are we saying that even if more than 3 ties are awful, 1 of those games would still be on live?

Their confidence would be even worse if we get a 10-0 pasting by Brighton.

I thought so too, very reasonable comments considering you'd assume Newport won't get past Spurs so we'd be the lowest ranked team. We'd definitely have taken that in the Prem days. Seem a good bunch, nice to see some support for our plight, they went through hell and back so fair plays to them

Best possible draw.

Please Mr.Barber,
Go as low as possible with home and away fan ticket pricing, to get a huge crowd.

Hoping we back Coventry fans with their SISU OUT campaign.

I am going by the previous rounds. I'm sure the slots like :

Friday night
Saturday Lunchtime,
Saturday late afternoon/evening
Sunday 2 games

I'm assuming these slots are there.

No disrespect to Brighton, it's just the distance and away tie that is so frustrating. BHA at home would have seen 25k plus at the Ricoh !

Definitely. I don't think that's as likely though. Man City are basically another planet compared to us. We can give Brighton a game.
I'm fairly certain Man City would basically pass the ball about between themselves if they got 3-0 up against a league 2 side

I think it seems crap as we were still in the bowl with last remaining undrawn teams Man city/Wigan /Brighton

And we all had eyes on praying for Man City.

The Brighton end will he empty and loads of Coventry fans will miss out due to a reasonably small allocation.

Home or away we have a better chance against these than half of the teams left in, woulda prefered home but it is what it is, winnable!

Be interesting how Hughton plays this they have Southampton, West Ham and Stoke before the cup tie could be well in the drop zone after them then Arsenal, and Everton and Man City away after don’t think he’ll play his full team

Same as the last two rounds, don't get the negativity! Couldn't been better, could've been worse.

We'd have probably got 25k if we'd drawn them at home, which will be the same at theirs and we get 45% of gate monies either way. Only difference is how many Cov fans can go of course, and I'll probably miss out, but as I'm not a STH I can't complaint.
