Well according to a rather subdued Mr Eastwood on CWR it seems the franchise bunch are "hoping" for 10,000 tomorrow. Still of course more than the Wycombe fixture last year and of course everyone is obsessed with the World Cup (is that still on)?

Let the good times roll

Would have thought they would have more for their first fixture of the season, not looking good. Will be even worse if they go on a bad run at some point.

10,000 for the season first game v a side full of England's World Cup stars (flops) blimey...

Hopefully though Cov can still pull in 1200 ish & that the clashing ko off times don't pull too many casual fans away from the BPA & the side/club that needs them most.

Edit:,just realised you meant Cov RFC

No free tickets? They actually thought if they give away thousands of tickets people will just fall in love with the club and 25,000 will appear every game.

Unlucky Wasps.

Cov rugby are 6 or 7 games into their season and just haven't been performing and are in about 7th place in what was expected to be a promotion push season. If they can pull 1200 at the Butts tomorrow with the World Cup on and Wasps playing. That would be a massive gate for a league 1 club (staying around last seasons average higher than most Championship sides).

we're the biggest team in Coventry yet tomorrow anyone using a digital radio to listen to the game can enjoy the 2nd half only as they are covering the wasps over us first half

None to my knowledge although they poached a signing off Cov Rugby last season after one poor game, that's working together for you!

Wasps took a Cov player Martin Thomas & didn't play him he was released without playing him.

Cov have signed 3 dual reg players this week.... 2 from Leicester & 1 from Northampton. Yet to see wasps help Cov......

That's funny the pro wasps lot were saying how much Cov would benefit from the plethora of wasp loan players improving their squad. So how do they benefit CRFC....

Got it wrong thought he went to Richmond but was London Welsh who are div above.

From what I've seen & read this season haven't been able to replace Hurrell & Rundles injury in the backs & the forwards are poor on the discipline front.
Fortunately no run away side, yet!

Was hoping for a RFC & FC double promotion this year didn't expect it to RFC letting that side of the bargain down quarter of the season in.

It would be genius giving it the 10k line so when they get 15k they can have a headline saying how great it is....

This is probably their plan.

Their advert on Heart fm offered a free drink if you went to their game and then stopped and watched a game on the tv after and all for £20 plus free kids or something. I was quite shocked as I thought they would have had very few tickets left at this stage.

I didn't say I couldn't see why some Coventry fans might resent wasps being here . Some times we have to move on or we get bitter and twisted. I used to hate SISU with a passion but,it seems they are not going so I move on and don't post about them any more .

Don't think you'll find many people whinging about the failure of Wasps on here.

Except maybe Italia if his parking revenue goes down.

Well that's very big of you. It will take me a very long time to forgive CCC/Wasps for what they have done to my club/my city.

Only CCC/Wasps?

There are more than two sides that I am totally pissed off with. Forgive? Maybe never. But time may heal my hatred for them.

The more successful we become the less people will acknowledge the presence of Wasps in the general sporting universe.
