    Awards season

Evening all. There aren't many days left to vote for Sky Blues Blog (skybluesblog.co.uk) as the best ‪Club‬ blog, and the Nii Lamptey Show (niilampteyshow.co.uk) as the best ‪Podcast‬ at the Football Blogging Awards! I do hate hijacking the forum with such cheekiness but if you have a spare...

    Sky Blues Blog Award

Evening all, Neil from Sky Blues Blog here. Sorry to hijack the forum with such a shameless request, but I've been nominated for best club blog at the Football Blogging Awards and I was wondering if I could be as brash to ask for a few votes from anyone on here who has a spare second to do so...

Fancy a free Coventry City shirt?

Ah yes. I was young and impressionable. And I thought it would be bloody hilarious if I gave myself the name of a former Tranmere Rovers player as an alias on a Coventry City forum. I was wrong.

Fancy a free Coventry City shirt?

Evening all. Sorry for creating a whole new thread about this, but thought you might be interested in a competition I'm currently running to win the new Coventry City shirt (home or away - you can pick if you win). Some of you might have seen my site Sky Blues Blog before. It's recently...

Which is our best defensive two? assuming all fit...

Good question. Turner and Wood/Cranie I reckon. Cranie is class, but Wood edges it as that'd be a more imposing pair. I'd maybe bop Cranie over to RB. Cameron's interesting. He started off the season impressively, but is liable to moments of absolute lunacy (these have been all-too...

    Doyle

It's been a long time coming if you ask me. Like you say, things have become stale for him so probably best he got a fresh start. Can't question his commitment, but a change will probably do him good. Saying all that, I always assumed we'd have a replacement if he did go.. Osbourne and Walker...

    Doyle

Really?! Yeah that'd definitely be a shock. Especially given how light we are in the middle. We're light all over the place, mind. I'd fancy Beckford coming our way to give us some options up front. Whether Coleman would sacrifice a central midfielder to get him in is another question though?

    Ashley Cain

I agree Nick, he's very promising. I don't think he'll be a starter, but that's not necessarily a bad thing at the moment. He's still got a lot to learn, but with his raw pace, he's already got an advantage over a lot of players. Could prove very useful, especially at the end of games...
