    JR2

Point taken but what does that change? The Higgs Charity was under no obligation to help out.

    JR2

Don't forget that when Higgs jumped in originally, it was doing the club a favour, because Richardson et al had run out of cash. They provided the cash, they made sure the stadium was built. And at the time the Club had a legally enforceable option to step back and get its stake back as soon...

    JR2

What's the alternative? To drift down the leagues. To move to some tiny stadium. If it folds, then it'll phoenix somewhere else without SISU.

    JR2

It's the discretion that we would be relying upon. EVERYONE involved in football can see what a car crash SISU have been and what damage they are doing to the club and therefore to the game. You can take the view that the people on the EFL board are just as bad as SISU, but they're not. They...

    JR2

Here are the EFL ground move rules (with my emphasis): 13.6 Each Club shall register its ground with The League and no Club shall remove to another ground (whether on a temporary or a permanent basis) without first obtaining the written consent of the Board, such consent not to be...

    JR2

Well that's my point, they have the power not to approve a move and I don't think they should approve one. At the very least they should be letting SISU know that they might not. If we leave the Ricoh again, that's got to be game over.

    JR2

The eventual result of JR2 will make no difference to anyone on this forum. BUT the fact that they are going to pursue JR2 is really serious because it pretty much rules out any hope of a deal with Wasps about continuing at the Ricoh beyond the end of next season. It also demonstrates - but we...

    Income streams from the Ricoh

You may be right but, at present we don't have two sides who trust each other, so we can't know what sensible people could sort out. There are plenty of ways to skin a cat - and a dead horse!

    Income streams from the Ricoh

Again, I don't see why - what's the alternative for Wasps - get nothing. What's the alternative for us - build a stadium for 10K people - great. It's doable. I think Sisu just don't know how to do these sorts of deals. They are used to telling people what to do, not cooperating with them.

    Income streams from the Ricoh

It depends on the deal. A prospective buyer would have great stadium to play in, none of the liabilities of owning and running a stadium, they'd just have to pay rent instead of paying the costs directly themselves. As long as the deal was a fair one, I don't see the issue. Wasps own the...

    Income streams from the Ricoh

I agree, but to be fair (not that I want to be fair to them!) they have appointed a manager who should keep us up, and then who knows. In the 50 odd years since Cov were promoted, other clubs seen to be able to manage it, and some of them on a shoestring. We live on the South Coast now and my...

    Income streams from the Ricoh

I have been thinking a lot about this. If you step back a bit from the details, it is clearly madness for the Club to think about playing anywhere else but The Ricoh. TF has talked about the need for us to own our own stadium but, as I understand it, he is suggesting we start somewhere small...
