The best memory I had was the first game I saw at Highfield Road when we played West Ham. Arrived on the day to scramble for the last few tickets and ended up in the corner of the east stand. The feeling of emerging out to see the pitch took my breath away, would give anything to have that...
Don't worry, I'm not a pathetic Slanderland fan.
But in all seriousness, I'm wondering what Jimmy Hills thinking about all of this and how he's feeling?... all that work, now in pieces.
IF we go down... it depends on which players we lose and bring in. We'll probably become mid-table mediocrity, but lets see how these last four games go first.
I wouldn't have minded conceding that third goal so as long as it was after at least one last all out attack... but we didn't, we slithered forwards without any urgency and conceded that third goal lazily. Fucking awful. I look foward to facing the likes of Walsall and Yeovil next year.
The players looked nervous, waiting for the inevitable sucker punch... and right on cue it came and sucked out all their fight. Such a painful game to watch with not enough chances being made.
