Except there is no evidence that he will make the team more successful. And while Ashley would make more money out of owning the club, for the time being he doesn’t own it and I’m worried the continued split between the two is going to be damaging - why would either invest without the other?
I can’t be happy about Mike Ashley buying our ground. A ground that should be ours and be owned by the club. As it stands I think this is the worst of all options. Where is any investment going to come into the club and team? Ashley will want to make money out of the stadium, but how? And King...
Thanks. My point was that they seem to have very little cash for a hedge fund unless they can draw down from the funds they manage. In 2019 they had 2.5m in cash and now down to 174k. That’s quite a drop

One thing I don’t understand is why they would sell Hamer if Ashley is going to buy the club? Surely he would want the strongest team possible as promotion would be his short term aim?
Hyam was consistently one of our best players. Selling him for a knock down price was a disaster that could cost us dear this season. You have to wonder what goes on behind the scenes for this to happen
Just took delivery of my 3rd kit - so pleased to get it and only took 2 days from when I ordered it. Don't know who is working at the warehouse but well done!
