Couple of things that struck me on this weekends trip.
1. when did we stop putting scarves out the windows on cars? on the journey up to Huddersfield I saw only one car flying colours. Used to be loads doing it and the drive would have its own entertainment where you can point 🖕🏽 or wave 👌🏼 to...
Didn’t think I needed to 😂. I can confirm they share the family obsession.
In fact George trained Saturday morning with the 21s before jumping in his car to drive up to Huddersfield on his own to watch the game.

and TBF to Ryan I’ve seen him in the away end a few times wearing a Cov shirt that he’s purchased himself so he certainly...
great night first leg. That second at Upton Park was the lowest point for me, gutted to be so close to Wembley and miss out. Horrible looking around the ground seeing them celebrating. I seem to remember losing away at Spurs in the Fa Cup the following week but that may not be true.
final memory...
Isn’t that sort of what they are though. How does calling it a reserve game make it any more intense than a 21s game. You can play 5 over age players in each game. We choose not to most of the time.
if there was a reserve league as well us under 21s we’d need a lot more players.
It’s got it’s place for sure. Not sure how fit the recovering players are but they’re highly unlikely to go to York on a Tuesday night, a 1pm at the Higgs may well have seen a few involved. The under 21s also offers a step up for the u18 to be stretched.
