Wouldn't sign a number 10, Sakamoto, Mason Clark, Palmer and Allen could all play number 10...
O'Hare can be inconsistent I agree.
I wouldn't call Palmer inconsistent myself, he consistently fails to deliver with the anomaly being the two or three times a season he puts in a good performance.
I think you would struggle to find a two or three game period back to back where Palmer put...
Well it's not a conspiracy but we've had the experts telling us for weeks that it's purely football reasons only and Palmer was keeping him out on merit as he was in the form of his life.
I mean when the alternative is Palmer, O'Hare has to be in ahead of him for me.
No doubt in my mind if it wasn't for the contract being up and O'Hare making it clear he is leaving, in no other situation does O'Hare get dropped for an extended period of time.
I think I'd rather Torp Eccles...
Leeds lost 2-1 to us and could have nicked a point if there took the chance in injury time.
I'm sure they were pissed but it's not the same, we got dominated 3-0 by a struggling side and never looked like doing anything for 90 minutes.
If we would have lost 2-1 and missed a great chance to...
We'd have a better chance as O'Hare undoubtedly improves the team. I seen enough against Leeds to think we could still get a tune out of him between now and the end of the season if he had more minutes.
Could we play a more traditional 4-3-3 next year without a number 10 and bin Palmer off as well?
Could well see a midfield 3 of Sheaf holding and two number 8 type players either side of him?
Similar to how we finished last season with Eccles, Kelly and Hamer as the midfield three
I think...
Puts an end to the Palmer is keeping him out on form argument, no doubt in my mind O'Hare would be playing 90 minutes regularly still if he had two or three years on his contract.
Think it's quite poor really unless O'Hare was unprofessional in someway to cause this to begin.
Seen enough...
As suspected really, mistake from Robins imo and one of very few in his time here.
O'Hare undoubtedly improves our team and could have been integral to a successful play off push now.
Last season we had the star players inspiring the rest of the team to almost reaching the premier league.
This season our 'star' player is stood by himself at half time playing keepy uppy.
