    Favourite moment of the season

Evening all. Fantastic day and season. For me it’s got to be Wycombe away, that first away win of the season and the style of a great win completed with a fantastic bit of play and finish from Matty Godden. Injection of belief it installed in everyone was huge. We stepped up another gear...

Hoping for the win but predicting a draw here. Will be a long day traveling with a night shift to follow unfortunately so the win will see me through nicely. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

    Wolves must be asking questions

Another raw player with bags of potential, ability with a eye for goal who could with the right application to his development and game make a successful professional career in the game but looks more likely he could be filed next to Duckens Nazon

    You decide

I don’t see much going out the door in January in a notoriously tricky window or much coming in. Jordan Ponticelli the likely only player going out on loan again in what’s got to be the right loan to kickstart his career again in senior football after what’s looking a poor loan on the pitch in...

Match Thread Colchester United vs. Coventry City Match Thread - Saturday 9th Nov

For years the FA Cup is a competition I look forward to and a break in league action, I woke up early from a night shift to secure tickets early as I thought there would be a high demand for this and easily sell out near 1800 allocation. Cannot help but feel deflated with just over 600 tickets...

    sunderland sack ross

Oh hello. Now you may of noticed I’ve not had time to pass on my wisdom and thoughts on for months but I’m sure you’ve been telling everyone your right still so I’ve missed nothing to note. You had me interested as I see a alert from you. A note to say you miss me and my sometimes against the...

    442

No, stay as we are with the 433. It’s evolving still, players adapting to system, each other... etc. It’s coming together. Only your usual in game tactical or positional changes are possibly required from any starting blueprint. It’s to early to think about a change

    The new 433 or a switch to 442/4231 ?

Personally Saturday I’d of looked towards a change of formation when Godden came on of Godden for Bakayoko, and put Shipley left wing and Hiwula and Godden as a pair and seen how that faired with Jobello as a right winger. I’d of also been tempted to play Sam McCallum on the left wing as time...

Match Thread Coventry City vs. Exeter City Match Thread - Tuesday 13th Aug

Hyam and Godden I’m almost sure will be starters, Eccles and McCallum on the bench for me. Pask was absent from the Bolton named 18, wonder if anything was in that or just simply a tactical decision. I’d rather keep a balanced side with minimal changes at this stage, especially if he’s...

Match Thread Coventry City vs. Exeter City Match Thread - Tuesday 13th Aug

I don’t see much changing in the line up for this. MR said cup runs was important for any future investment on the incoming front so expect a strong side looking to progress into the second round for a good draw also played before the transfer window shuts If no Allen still then just Godden...

    The new 433 or a switch to 442/4231 ?

Agree and completely respect your point, just because your tactics worked against The Red Lion on a Sunday morning don’t make you Pep... however come 3pm or 5pm for that on a Saturday many hold their A licence on here. Just interested in why the negativity towards the 433 we’ve seen so far and...

    The new 433 or a switch to 442/4231 ?

Seen a few comments on various threads that many don’t seem to convinced with the 433 formation and would like to see a switch back to the 4231 we ended the season with or the traditional 442 embedded into us at birth also a adaptation of previously utilised by MR Personally I’d like us to...

Match Thread Bolton Wanderers vs. Coventry City Match Thread - Saturday 10th Aug

Hiwula is fair value for L1 striker and a L1 striker for a reason, his inconsistency in front of goal. A few seasons his hit 9 goals in the league and 12/13 in all competitions. He’s got the ability but inconsistencies are his down fall. He’s still knocking on the door of around a 1 in 3 man...

Is anyone else glad we're terrible?

I can relate to your post, the money and glamour of the Premiership is distancing fans from there club, I’m comfortable watching my side on a Saturday at 3pm not when sky tv decides best. Don’t quite think the title is reflective but I’d say it strengthens MR hand in justifying asking for a bit...
