Agree on the Leicester song… they're inbred, not interbred…
Rest of your post, disagree, sometimes gets a reactionary chant from the opponent support, and helps drive the atmosphere!
I was just throwing numbers around...
As requested:
Average salary in Cov = £33k (per payscale.com)
Weekly = £635 (rounded)
Tax & NI = £126
Take Home Pay = £509
Ticket cost as a % of income = 7.3%
UK minimum wage = £10.43/hour
Full time employee (40 hour week) = £417 (rounded)
Tax & NI = £56
Take Home Pay = £361
Ticket cost as a % of income = 10.2%
I know at current prices, but if the price goes to £450 as Pete suggested in an earlier post, it’ll certainly make me think about it a bit more than I do currently…
£450 / 23 = £19.50..
If you miss several games though:
£450 / 15 = £30
My issue is that I can't make every game...
STH at the moment, but I miss 7 or 8 home games each season. Buying single tickets quickly start to become the cheaper option...
Like I said, my issue, not everyone else's...
Was chatting to my Watford-supporting colleague yesterday...
He said that they're shit, have a much better squad than 9th, but Bilic was playing players in the wrong positions just to get them in the team. He said he "won't be at all surprised if Bilic gets the old tictac"
