Off the back of the confidence-building win last night, I'm going for a cheeky 2-0 CCFC win here!

Altogether now..."oh, we do like to be beside the seaside....."

Season gets up and running with a 1-2 victory. Sordell to open his account with Turnbull adding his 3rd in a week to keep on top of the scoring charts!

They've been doing alright under Rossler, but I think this could be a turning point for us, at least fingers crossed!

Thanks to the win last night giving us some much needed confidence, 2-1 City.

Give Bigi and Ruben another game to build a bit of consistency.

city to dominate for 30 mins have 10 chances and take none of them ,fleetwood to have 1 shot on target and score ,2nd half the same ,2 nil loss

We'll probably be 4-0 up with 6 minutes to go and lose 6-4. Last night was only their U/23s but I was still expecting a tonking so to win and score 4 is pleasing. I think this will be a tight game again. As long as we do not concede an early goal, I think we will edge this either 0-1 or 1-2. Get our first league win, we start to pick up a bit.

i wonder who we have as referee for this one,
the saying goes in football that things even out over the season,
if that's the case,
then we are due for the next 5 ref's to be in our favour,

Fleetwood have been developing a side, yes even under Pressley. Rosler will have taken them on further.

Don't underestimate how organised and how difficult they will be to beat. I hope some of our fans have learnt the lesson after republishing Burton and their ability to last the distance.

Their fans rejoiced when Pressley walked.

(I agree they're strong but Pressley will have nothing to do with that)

For some strange reason I think we will win this one too going for 2-0 City. Team difficult but we were better in last league game too I'd go with this tbh,,,,still think screaming out for 4-4-2 but almost given up hope of TM ever starting with this formation.

Windows closed so the first win of the season. 1-2 Agyie and Willis to score. If I'm wrong I will blame it on the general anaesthetic I had earlier.

triker arrives from the Premier League

Fleetwood Town are delighted to announce the signing of Alex Jakubiak from Watford.
The 20-year-old was a prolific scorer in the Premier League side’s U23 team last season and recently signed a new four-year deal with his parent club.
The striker arrives on loan until the end of the season and will be available for Saturday’s game against Coventry City at Highbury Stadium.
He joins Kieran Wallace as Fleetwood’s second signing of transfer deadline day.s
