Never liked SQ music at all, but they were always amusing and nice lads.

I thought they were great in the late 60's (Ice in the Sun) and then early 70's. After that they became derivative and repetitive, but they remained incredibly popular for an age.

I was never a fan but their recent acoustic stuff gave their songs a new slant that I quite liked. So many musical celebrities have died this year. RIP

I think I chose the right year not to become famous. It's been a relentless procession of high profile deaths. RIP, I liked Quo. So many bands try to experiment and end up far away from what made me like them in the first place . That can't be levelled at Quo.

Agree my first time exposure to them was at the Friday night bop at Balsall Common, "Down the dustpipe ".
RIP. Rick
Did quite well to get this far with a rock and roll lifestyle.
All done on 3 chords too

Saw them live at the NEC years ago and the place was rocking. Grew up listening to their music but not shocked at his death as he's been unwell for years. But still sad news.

Seemed almost indestructible. After heart attacks, drug use etc its a shoulder injury that takes him.

Glad the old line up made peace and got back together one last time before this happened.
