It's a cost cutting exercise.
That would make sense with the stuff that the club pre-order, i.e.: the stuff thats included in a package. That's not what's being referred to is it? This is things you buy on the day, that would be a transaction between the purchaser and ACL, would CCFC even be involved?

Doesn't sound like a dispute of any type as it says they are still selling other things. Would be interesting to hear if the same applies at Wasps games.

Unless they haven't paid etc.

Still, let's see what the reason is before all getting riled up :) (not saying you are!)
Exactly!

Very easy to jump to conclusions, but let's see if the club have been denied access for any reason, before getting on our high horses.

It will be to do with having to order loads of food no matter what the orders are or something I reckon and still paying silly money for it.

As in you must order 100+ peoples worth for instance, even though only 50 people go to corporate, for example?

I think that was to do with proper meals, but no idea how it works with Pies. Like Dave says, surely they just go to the bar and buy one and the transaction is between the buyer and ACL?

I honestly don't know. Never been to corporate, and I won't if all the money goes to ACL/Wasps.

Surely Mrs Fisher can get her pinny on and bake some pies? It's all about about the pies according to TF :)

Actually, expanding on that. Why doesn't TF bring some free pies etc to improve PR/relations with the corporate fans spending plenty of money on tickets etc.

Mind you, I now remember who TF is :)

If anyone is that desperate for a meat based pastry product there is a Gregg's in the tesco concourse. Glad to be of assistance

Exactly like that. CCFC have to pay on the basis that it is sold out every game and have to pay at near retail price so anything less than a sell out and they're losing money.

This sounds like a different thing though as this is ACL, or Compass, selling directly to those in corporate. If it was a dispute of some sort why are they still providing part of the service. My guess would be that they aren't selling as much as they'd like and as its CCFC they aren't bothered if it impacts our supporters in corporate.

This can be all summed up with a simple pie chart

So - it appears ACL/Compass not selling enough pies in corporate, so have stopped selling pies in corporate.
CCFC can't provide pies (becuase Compass has the food contract for entire stadium) so no pies - CCFC would like pies but 'out of their control'

ACL/Compass selling enough pies in concourse - so pies still available there.

So you think it is beyond Fish Face control perhaps they are refusing to sell pies as twat Fisher is constantly going on about pie money the club is a fucking disgrace and my season tickets will not be getting used again this season unless he fucks off.

Compass and ACL have decided to stop pie sales in corporate. I assume they have decided it's not profitable enough. The club are not able to source from anywhere else.

I blame sisu.

Oh dear this is going to be like your Christmas party thread

Compass and acl decide where to sell food. They have closed bars down in the west stand as its not cost effective.

The compass contract dictates where to sell them.

Depends on the twisting of words to make out something that's not there.

Back on point, where have Compass said this? So far, it's "something outside of CCFC's control" coming from CCFC on Twitter.

More than likely, it is what you have suggested. Just wondered if you'd seen a statement from Compass confirming this?

Why would they stop because of that? They used the pie money argument to come here.

Surely it's in their (Wasps/Compass) interests to accommodate whatever fans are there?

If 20 people are in corporate and want to spend money, why would they not want to take their money? Considering Wasps have money to make to pay back debts.

Just to clarify, I fully expect it to be Compass who have pulled the food available from Corporate.

No but there are a lot if issues regarding corporate bookings. The pie distribution requires additional staff and the wastage is high. Corporate experience now is a lot worse than when ccfc were the sole occupiers. It's not worth the money anymore and there's nothing the club can do about it.
I've experienced corporate hospitality across many clubs in the premier league and as I have previously stated the ccfc experience was excellent. Now it's amongst the worst but the club can't do a thing about it

Surely they could cook to order rather than stopping service full stop?

(20 pies x price) - two Joeys to cook and serve them = more than than nothing at all surely?

Again, speaking hypothetically.

Received a message from the club saying there will be no hot pies sausage rolls and pasties etc for the Bolton match in the lounge /bars etc and unfortunately this maybe the case for the remainder of the season - talks are ongoing- not sure what the situation with the rest of the stadium - very odd
Does that mean that Tim Fisher and Co won't be getting there hot meals on match days. :hungry:  :wtf:

Its almost as if it could be to Wasps advantage to ensure the corporate offering at CCFC games were poor. Would like to hear how the treatment our corporate supporters get compares to theirs.
