League Two on tour!

Will be good to win some games.

Might be good for the club to bounce back.

Have I missed any?
All the new grounds we'll have to visit?

Accusing others of being pessimistic when you fail to point out in c) that there's also time to sell players meaning that a) potential increases to that most important £1M profit.

:)
Ooops forgot about that Tony ;)
Of course another knock-on effect of this would be b) the reduction in wages, meaning more profit......
And while we're on the anti-pessimism topic, how about e) the abysmal results and 'performances' could signal even more thousands of people like me boycotting the Ricoh....meaning we don't have to worry about those nasty Wasps refusing to negotiate: we won't need the Ricoh in League 2 because we can ground share with Bedworth United :)
So everything's going to plan.......trebles all round for Tim, Joy and SISU :)

We all know the big big trouble we are in. Now need to bring in a striker and midfielder at least by the end of the week. The club must make its mind up on Stevenson...I say either he isn't going or accept a bid by Wednesday.
I think slade is the right guy but I'm not sure he will save us this season but I think we are tighter than we were at the he back and are still in with a chance. However with the others at the bottom winning it looks more difficult

I bet Bedworth United can't wait to be embroiled In a court case regarding their ground

To be honest Mowbray lost 4 in his first 10 this season we couldn't score but played some decent stuff and were unlucky in quite a few . tudgay missing sitters v Oldham as an example .
We have lost 9 since he left . Play awful football now and don't look as organised , except for the Bolton game .
Still think Mowbray should have stayed longer myself .. it's a tough job for any incoming manager at this club though and statistics say as opposed to most managers under sisu , Mowbray was a success here wether you think so or not .
I really want slade to succeed but I'm not holding my breath .

Here's hoping

The one thing that stands out for me today, besides the defeat of course, is the fact that we didn't win our first corner unto the 6th minute of added time.

well that was fucking shit!!! does Slade not have eyes?? the whole game we lumped it forward for our 5'10" c/f Beavon to jump against 6'7" c/h Hird and, surprise surprise, we got hardly anything from it.

why the fuck would you keep on doing the same fucking thing over and over? when it was on the floor we looked like we could open them up but it didn't happen very often.
that's probably it for me this season (unless we get into the semi's for the Checkatrade)

Burge 6. Almost cost us first half with his six yard box dribble nowhere at a corner second half but not much chance for goal
Foley 6 only really got forward once before going off injured not promising
Willis 7 probably our best player today
Clarke 6 dont think he's any better than turnbull
Haynes 6 usual Haynes performance
O'reilly 4 not sure what he did right
Rose 5 poor on the ball
Reid 6 our biggest threat today
Thomas 6 did ok
bevan 7
Tudgay 6

Yup, our crew were saying the same. Needed to play wing backs,

As far as players ratings today I think Thomas deserves a mention. He fluffed his lines with that chance but he did show hunger and commitment. He was chasing all over the shop, trying his heart out. Truth be told he just ain't that good, but I can take that as long as the effort is there. Beavon was ok and regardless of the general consensus Reid had a better game than usual, which isn't saying much, his delivery was abysmal however.

Yeah, ditto that. Take it easy. Think of anything other than the City.
You ok Pete?
Bet it's your blood pressure
On a serious note hope your ok and home soon.
cheers Wingy keeping me on n
You missed a cracking goal ;)

Also missed an otherwise shit game.

Hoping you have a speedy recovery!

As for their defender, would have thought he'd have been seen a bit quicker since he required a neck brace?
His mum and dad are with him he's a loan player from Burnley no one from club and he's still here. Neck brace must have been a precaution he's still here actually wearing his kit

What the fuck have anybody else got to do with us apart from SISU ?????
I'm sick to fucking death of you and the other fucking wanker blind to anything SISU do by deflecting blame brigade.
One fucking party is responsible for this and that's the bastards who own us fucking end of.
So i say fuck sisu and you say your blind to anything sisu do.

Ok.

If someone has a whistle next game I'm gonna shove it up their arse
Agreed. The ultimate nail in the coffin yesterday was our own version of so solid crew who kept singing will you blame the whistle now at 1-0. Clearly both acknowledging and rejoicing that it did actually happen.

I've been saying for a long time now, while SISU are here it doesn't matter who the manager is !!! :wacky:
Many of us have pointed out that the climate of the club, as a whole, is not conducive to any semblance of success. Or anything other than continued perennial struggling, either.

The fact is, pointing it out makes little difference. We're still in this situation and it can only get worse; they're not going anywhere until they have recouped a few million. Personally, I believe they couldn't give a crap if we drop into L2.

I suspect Sisu may view going down as the best option. Can get rid of the academy, move to a smaller ground as the Ricoh deal ends, easier to run us on a shoestring.
