ccfc are really screwed , the disaster of a club riddled with issues , he is the only one to blame

Tim if your reading this please do the right thing for the Club your out of you depth

so you think if he goes our problems will be solved?
Fisher is a tosser but if he goes I've no doubt he will be replaced by someone of a similar ilk. having said that, I'd like to see him go because I don't like the c**t but I doubt it would change anything.

I'm not sure, he could still do the break even stuff that sisu want but go about it different and have a much better outcome while still keeping it break even etc.

Better outcome for who?

We may have to entertain the possibility that all we've done to piss off Joy recently has meant she's intentionally leaving the club in limbo to piss us off. She certainly likes to get personal when it suits her and is clearly not used to not getting her way.

Keeping Fisher about is just icing on that cake.

So who is the real source of our problems? There has been 9 years of mismanagement and leadership. Wasn't there a sort of announcement some years ago that Seppala was getting more hands on? Didn't she suggest she had not wanted to invest and trusted others?

The organisation Coventry City FC will continue to fail until we get some dynamic leadership from the top. In my experience of business if you set out to break even you will make a loss. There are also times you need a positive injection of investment to get off your knees. Once you start blaming others for your market position you are sunk.

I don't disagree with any of that, I just don't think they'll be any drastic change if fisher goes, we need total new ownership for that.

I'm not sure TF really determines the strategy, he may negotiate on behalf of the club but I think JS makes all the key decisions. But using strategy indicates there's an actual detailed plan, there isn't it's a shambles. TF is many things but he isn't stupid he knows the current policy of selling all the potential and not reinvesting it will only lead in one direction, this is surely being imposed on him.

Better outcome for who?

Everybody really, including SISU.

I know whoever it is will just be a "SISU Puppet" but if there was somebody who could deal with fans, talk to them on their level, explain things a bit better etc then they could go about the break even but raise the break even figure

Please don't be blaming Wasps for Fishers performance , I know you have a bit of an anti-Wasp crusade which is fair enough but they weren't around when the Northampton decision was made and if it hadn't been made Wasps probably wouldn't be here now !!
They are not entirely blameless though are they, on field issues aside, they are trying to derail our local talent by taking our academy away from us!

Or are they just making sure their club has a suitable training centre in their new hometown?

I think it's fair to say that Fisher has one objective and that's to make the club break even and profitable. Unfortunately in his own words it doesn't matter which league they are in. There is no funding from Sisu's investors anymore. The appetite has vanished for CCFC. It's like when we own shares, some do well and others just fail. The shares that fail we don't sell we just forget about an maybe by luck in 20 years they suddenly rise and you hit a jackpot.

So for Seppala it's a case of as long as they club isn't loss making then it isn't a headache for her.

Have they actually said they want us out?
I thought there was scope to still stay there with use of the kicking barn and pitches.
It seems easier for us to be a victim rather than sorting it out.
To stay there on their terms. Thats much easier for them than building their own "kicking barn" whatever the fuck that is?? 18 sites identified in the city and they choose to kick us out rather than build their own custom made place.

You need to get past this.
As at the Ricoh there is room for both.
Let Wasps pay for everything and just use the facilities at minimum cost.
Problem is that Wasps are unlikely to bother too much if we are always fighting not negotiating.

Maybe your right, but it sticks in the back of the throat as an attack on our production line of talent.

The academy is still there and carrying on as normal. Even the audit from the FA has recently taken place.
I have also seen nothing on the swimming pool that effectively is what removes the current indoor pitch.

There won't be room for both unless our academy kids are going to play underwater. The pool, supposedly nothing to do with Wasps but has rugby facilities in the plans, will see the removal of the indoor pitch, a key academy requirement and Wasps are taking outdoor pitches for their sole use.

Let Wasps pay for everything? There's nothing that needs paying for, all the facilities required for the academy were put in place when they academy was built for the football club.

As for minimum cost that's what we get now. Wasps have proposed we can use the 'kicking barn' when they don't need it if we pay a full commercial rate. Given that we will likely also need a second site to maintain the level of facilities that means the cost of running the academy will significantly increase.

One question. Why when Wasps had 18 suitable sites, including the one there are currently using which RBC have said could easily be a permanent facility, did they move into the only site that would negatively impact CCFC?

They claimed in the CT it was because it is in the city centre and close to the Ricoh, neither of which are true.

Lets get this clear: Wasps are hurting Coventry City by their actions you are saying?
I think that our owners are hurting Coventry City just about enough without any extra assistance!
But it doesn't have to be one or the other does it? Up until the point Wasps showed up everything our current owners had done could be relatively easily reversed by new owners. And we still had a half decent chance of attracting new owners. You can't say the same now. A new owner needs to fund a new ground and new training facilities.

Agreed 100%, that horse has bolted though and the gap in the market that nobody foresaw was Wasps taking the opportunity. Can't blame them for that in my opinion, we can debate all year about whether they should be here but you can't dispute that they have played a blinder since arriving in Coventry. 25,000 plus gates and the goodwill of many shows what CCFC failed to do.
I wish they were 100 miles away, however they are in Coventry and it looks like they are not going anywhere it would be better to stop pointing the finger and find a way to create a future that is better than our present.

Again you need to get over this.
Although not perfect we need to work with Wasps to get what we can and not fight.

There is a problem here, the Cov Tel came out & with 20,000 + criticised the club, (rightly so, in my opinion), but the other arm of the local media, i.e. radio, did not & will not do that, perhaps they've been told, I don't know, just guessing.
They'll sit on the fence until they get splinters, it's actually laughable, in that 99.9% of calls, texts, & tweets ram home the view that sisu are the reason for our demise.
The local radio then pronounce in pompous tones that they have to present a balanced view;
so 2 large lumps of coal (CCFC fans)on 1 scale,
& 2 feathers (sisu believers)on the other scale;
I get the feeling they dare not take a balanced stance for fear of being ostracised.
It's all the fans fault anyway, because Mr Fisher said so, & he knows a lot about football, as he so proudly pronounced on the radio, just before he had another snipe at the fans/investors.
The fans being the main source of investment now that JS has lobbed her teddy out of the pram.:emoji_bear:

I have a grudging respect for Tim Fisher-there I said it. He must have the skin of a Rhino and be aware that he is hated by so many and seems to be unaffected by it.
We don't know the dynamic of who is making the decisions but we sure know who is fronting them up and I just wish he was adept at building partnerships and relationships rather than being so inflexible.
Other than that I wish he would just get the hell out of our club.

CCFC Finance Director
So they wanted him to loose £60M ?
..... and he does all this for no pay.

I smell a rat.

Has he been the one to lose all of that though even if it were the right figure? Not defending him, but his purpose is to deflect attention and to keep the club breathing nothing more nothing less - and that is why SISU/ARVO will not replace him as far as I can see. SISU specialise in losses of course

Appointed Jan 2012, wasn't he as a director?. To 31/05/12 the club under SISU ownership had accumulated 38m losses, (4.5 years) since then under TF 18.9m to 31/05/15 (3 years). Got to be careful with looking at the losses though there are some manufactured amounts included in them - no I do not mean management charges

Of course none of that excuses what he and the owners have done to our team - not for even one second. Sooner they are both gone the better - just do not see it happening any time soon

TF will start working hard deflecting more comment soon I would think when SISU launch JR2 - that's the one with Otium Entertainment Group Ltd t/a CCFC named as a plaintiff of course
