I don't know if this will effect things or not, but Swansea play away against Liverpool in the Premier on Saturday 21st January. The following Saturday they have no game at all as it is the FA Cup, having been knocked out in the last round.

Just wondered if this might change Swansea's approach to our Checkatrade game or not. After the Liverpool game they have no match for 10 days.

I just went past Wembley stadium. I shouted through the window 'See you in April you beauty! '

Bit presumptive you think?
Could depend on what your choice of transport was and in what direction the wind was blowing, and if the window was open of course. But yes, probably presumptive although cup half full.

I was driving the 16.31 Birmingham New Street to London Euston at the time.

Yes. It's nice to have this platform to let off steam and express ourselves isn't it.
That's first class that.

Nice to know there's no barriers to your humour and you're still onboard with it and even though you know your station in life, there seems to be no sign of you hitting the buffers anytime soon.

You're right Otis. I always like to keep things on the level, crossing over to dreary posts wouldn't tender much support would it. I'm here for the long haul and wouldn't want anyone blowing the whistle on me for dull content, after all you never know who may take offence so I'm always on my guard.

Seeing as we have a train driver in our midst, see if he can get hold a train and do a one off run from Coventry to Swansea (and back of course).
Dead easy. Piece of piss.

Coventry to Birmingham. Change at Birmingham. Birmingham to Bristol Temple Meads. Change at Bristol. Bristol Temple Meads to Cardiff. Change at Cardiff. Cardiff to Swansea.

Then walk.

Should have thrown in a free pie deal for away fans, to compensate for the nightmare journey
