Love how as soon as someone arrives we manage to find branded clothing for them to wear. Yet our own club shop struggle to accommodate fans with a lack of variety of stock!

That said, looks like Slade has only been given one top :D

i miss armstrong and murphy

We were definitely spoilt with these two, along with kent.

I often criticised Kent for being a one trick pony but our season took a nose dive the second he left, and boy would I love to see him in our side right now!

Same could be said about Murphy. Although he was such a frustrating player.

I am confident that in about 5 games time we will be pretty strong in defence once they get used to each other. Up front & scoring I still need convincing tbh

...onwards & upwards PUSB

It is so hard to read that and not comment. In fact, if i've given up booze this month, i'm afraid I can't resist the temptation of everything!

All i'll say is both have been absolute shite in the last 10 games, with both Barnsley and Norwich fans displeased.

Go on their forums and you can see them moaning instead of me ;)

For the lazy:

Does ryan Kent need dropping?

Seems about 50/50 on Kent. Apparently they have to pay Liverpool to drop him! Wonder if we had a similar deal.

Home (Murphy thread)

From a week ago, they're on about Liverpool and others being after him and how he's too good for them.

(also quit my drug of choice and can't avoid a comment ;) )

I guess the fact that there is a poll probably tells you enough ;) - I'm with that 50% at least!

Ah, I agree with Cov city for life, when we could actually argue about how over rated we thought players were, rather than how shit they all are!

Some interesting comments on the Norwich forum about bigger clubs hoovering up young English talent. What goes around etc.

It's a food chain. Mid table- lower league premiership sides can't keep hold of young talent.

I think he problem we have is that the money we receive from selling our talent doesn't come back to the manager. So we are in an endless loop where we aren't investing in players to improve.

So shouldn't our strategy to be hoovering up talent from non-league/L2? Isn't that how food chains work? We aren't plant matter, we are at least a dormouse.

Hey, don't hold back. We're all friends on here after all :D it's a safe place! Ha!

Sounds like it's a repeat for them both last season. So much talent, so much promise, but delivered not often as they could or should.

Then Again, if I had the choice of moaning about Kent and Murphy or Agyei and Wright, I know who'd I'd go with :)

Oh yeah, even I'll agree with you on that! Jesus, Wright and Agyei have to be down there with some of the worse players we have ever had. - and that is quite an achievement!!

I see Andre Wright has gone to Yeovil on loan today.

The loan has had to be cancelled, as he cannot represent 3 teams in a competitive match in one season

No more competitive games for him this season then, I guess he played a competitive game for West Brom?

Yes, the F.A. are saying his Checkatrade Trophy game for Albion's U21's is classed as competitive
