Sheff united have bid for him exactly type of player we need.

Leon clarke left out of match day squad yesterday is he on the move again surely worth a gamble

With the kick and watch (not rush) long ball game we seem to have move to, we need a 6 foot plus brick shithouse type player to hold the ball up until the rest of the team bother to move forward.

Where we find this player on a free with low wages is the answer, maybe next to the new stadium.

Leon Clarke will be hopeless at this hoof ball nonsense (but I would love to see back!)

I no it's not directly ccfc related but some may be interested in any notable moves in the next week...

Sheff Utd have a bid accepted for Bradfords James Hanson..... plenty of strikers on there books now. Hanson and Billy clarke will be a handful together.
Could Leon clarke be on the move in yet another transfer window?

If Leon Clarke doesn't move in this window then I can't see him staying in the next.
He gets about dont he.

Sheffield United must have a good few forwards now at the club

Sheff have signed Jay O'Shea from Chesterfield as well 8 goals 8 assists this season!

Novel idea this signing decent players to strengthen a promotion push!

Sheffield united making signings that will virtually guarantee them gaining promotion out of this
shit league, if only we had been thinking along the same lines this time last year.

They will gain promotion this year... be interesting to see what the investment is overall to get them out the league.

They will need a big investment again if they do, the gulf is growing between the championship and league one every season.
Look at Wigan and Burton.

If we'd of gone up last year we'd be rock bottom under Rotherham I suspect, ironically were bottom of league one

So if we'd have gone up last season we would have been rock bottom below Rotherham,
I'm glad we didn't go up now, bring on league 2.

I'm not saying I'm glad we didn't go up.... I'd rather be at the foot of the championship than league one.
My point was the gulf between championship and league one

If they cost a transfer fee to sign them, then you can rule us lot out. Bit obvious isn't it that we're not looking at players with a fee?

The overall investment of SU is completely irelavent, we were in a very similar position this time last year
despite very little investment, a couple of signings of this ilk would have probably seen us home.
