We have agreed to pay £75 to repair 3 toilet doors in the hospitality bit so the order for 17 hot sausage rolls has been reinstated

So top scorer Sordell sold, followed by next top scorer.
Remember Jutkievicz was sold in Jan when we were fighting relegation from Championship too.

I realise that we are already down this year (not mathematically, but realistically), but it seems that those in power are sanctioning sales which make absolutely sure of it...

Get ready for selling anything that moves and worth anything. Willis, Stevenson, Haynes, Harries. Then once the window closes anything else with value like the training ground. Now we are relegated we can concentrate on Fisher's 1 million+ profit.
Yep Fisher will be crowing at the fact that despite the league position we have made a reasonable profit I am sure the other parasites will think OHH Good...fuck the future and fuck the team as long as the balance sheets look good...I see Slade now is the patsy

Its all well and good everyone saying they aren't bothered. He might not be the greatest but its hardly a squad overflowing with talent.

Would love to know if Slade had any knowledge of this or it is just presented to him as a done deal.

This is becoming absolutely ridiculous - we can't score and we're conceding 3/4 goals week in/week out - so we go and sell one of our few centre backs?! Absolutely disgraceful, why don't we just fold now.... there is nothing left of this club - there's not even a carcass left for SISU to dine on.

Fisher surely has to be torched out of the Ricoh next Tuesday

With his head paraded on a stake during a lap of dishonour!

I reckon bringing in Rawson and Clarke sort of looked like her knew to get cover. Unless he was just stacking up on centre halves and doing the opposite of mowbray and his strikers.

Very similar circumstances to when we were relegated from the championship just on a far shitter scale. Who'd have thought that was even possible when we were left to fight relegation with Clive platt and a half fit Cody McDonald?!

Errmm, don't quite get some of the annoyance in this thread.

Surely we appealed the sending off because at the time he was our player.

What if a deal didn't ever get agreed with Rotherham? Surely you treat your player as your player until he is your player no more.

There was no guarantee that Rotherham or whoever were going to match any price we had on his head. We may not have been actively selling him, it could be Willis who wanted to go, but we wanted to keep him unless a decent enough offer came in for him.

Also don't get the selling him right now today anger. Surely better to sell him today rather than at this time tomorrow with no hope of a replacement.

Slade said he had finished with the defence side of things, but that was based on what we had. I would assume he will now look for a replacement.

As for Willis, not good, not bad, just average, but good luck to the guy. No-one can ever say he didn't always out the effort in and try his best.

I wouldn't have said it but for the fact I went on Facebook and saw: 'CCFC accept third bid for Willis.'

One story below posted an hour before said: 'CCFC appeal Jordan's red card.'

Just smacks of a massive joke really.

Christ, it's that bad even Clive Platt to do half a job up front with BEavon for us now!

I'd take Kevin Kyle and Dean Holdsworth in their current state at the moment! I dread to think what this threadbare squad is going to look like in 24 hours and 12 minutes time!!

It if the two bids were unacceptable then he was still our player and surely there was no guarantee that Rotherham would have come back with a third offer.

I don't get the anger. There has been strong Willis rumours all month, so now he finally goes.

Slade has bought in two CB's and a RB, plus we have Stokes (sort of), Turnbull and Harries in the background.

If I had to pick one of the three strongly rumoured to leave (Stevenson, Harries and Willis) then from a resourcing perspective he's the best option.

The frustration and anger will absolutely be justified if tomorrow we've sold Willis, Stevenson and Harries/Haynes and bought nobody in. It will be evidence of a lack of invesment, planning and care for the club.

The key is Slade and his team having targets identified for when the above happens.

I would guess you have just hit the nail on the head, He will be informed in due course or read it the telegraph, a day after it happened or of course come on here and see it before. Due course will be the slowest

What would you do Otis, if you were CCFC and had a fan base on edge, then you'd just had two bids for a player?

Wait another day until the transfer window closes just in case, or make a comment about a player and probably agree to sell him about 45 minutes later?

It's just common sense, and the club don't have any of it.

Really aren't bothered.

He isn't a world beater and not convinced he can make the step up anyway.

We've got tomorrow to bring in another few players.

I would sell him today rather than tomorrow.

If it has become clear today that he is going a new he wants to leave I would much rather do it today than tomorrow. That would give me a day to replace him if I needed to.

Maybe Stokes is on the way back. If he is back he can play centre half and suddenly it doesn't look so bad at all.

I think if we are going to moan it needs to be at the end of play tomorrow. Then we will know if it's been a good window or a bad one.

We can all second guess of course and assume and we may all be right, but I would rather reserve judgement until tomorrow.

Then the picture might be a lot clearer.

Someone should ask fisher why do you sell your captain when your fighting to avoid relegation??

Been a rumour for a while that he isn't happy, so maybe this is Willis saying he wants off.

If a player doesn't want to play for us I would rather he wasn't here personally.

Maybe it will all be clearer by the end of play tomorrow.

Also, has Willis agreed terms yet? If the deal were to fall through, then people would say 'why didn't we appeal the sending off.'

Otis

Seems to me that most people don't believe Willis to be that good a player and someone who is rather average anyway.

So why are we all upset he is going?

We might all just be surprised at who is coming in tomorrow.

If no-one comes in at all of course and others are to go too, THEN is the time to start wailing and gnashing teeth.

We've just sold him. What on earth is the point in appealing his red card? Let me guess: 'Sorry CCFC fans, we didn't have enough time to sign any more players for our important relegation battle, because we were too busy faxing over Jordan's appeal... Even though we just sold him to Rotherham.'

Just another day as a Coventry fan... You literally couldn't make this shit up.

Just seen this on FB. Is that you or is it a copy and paste job?!
