To be fair your not a bad person I don't think, you argue in a way that you know will rile people. You come across sometimes after a match that's been disappointing to fans as you being the font of all football knowledge, that winds people up because we go to the games, and we actually see the play whether good or bad. You watch highlights and then spout your seemingly superior opinions which in truth are very football manager 2017 esk. Then when you have wound people up, you cry Nick Nick do something he swore and abused me, only to begin using insults and profanity in a few posts later. I think we all agree on here that you should grow up and act the 34 years old you tell us you are, then maybe you will stop being the SBT village idiot.

The season is over for us, we really need to start the rebuilding ASAP!!
Do you really think SISU are capable or willing to do that? I don't.

So waving back to the crowd is too? Nothing in that pic in all honestly... more a hate campaign.
If we're we're mid table and zero frailties in our ability to see a game out most would say he was interacting with the fans. Surely you must agree.
I wouldn't care if he wore a clown suit with a red nose provided he got results. The problem is the lack of results.

His cv is not full of promotions but that of firefighting and building competitive sides that have reached the playoff finals and enjoyed cup runs. So moderate success.
This fire was rapidly growing and he's not been able to extinguish it after bringing in some players of his choice who 50% been a success.

The bigger picture is who is the boards choice of candidate to lead us in league two. If it's not Slade then the new man needs identifying very quickly to see the task ahead which in all honesty a few highlights from sky blues player will indicate.
The manager needs to be in place very early to establish targets and go get them signed on before pre season starts.
If it's still Slade they choose then I trust he will get them players.
His CV is mediocre.

its a valid point that we keep going on about managers but not fully focusing on sisu. its nearly a decade of consistent failure under them. yeah sometimes not their fault, i have always said when i think sisu blamed for no reason. coleman spend, robins leaving, mowbray quitting etc are examples of that imo

but budget cutting, moving us,pissing off fans, brigning in people like deliu and anderson, selling our young players against wishes etc that stuff is hurting us.

If our football club have no intention of extending his contract beyond May the answer is no

I agree - to some extent at least. I'd turn it round the other way though. If there's a chance that, if team performances and results improve, his contract might be extended, then the answer is yes he should stay. Given the poor quality of the squad he inherited, maybe he should be given more time than 10 games to begin a turnaround?

However, like most on here I've not been impressed with his team selection and his apparently clueless tactics. So I don't think it's clear cut either way.

If he acts like a low league manager, looks like one and talks like one, then I guess we have a low league manager.

We are geared for low league football.
Despite previous managers obvious failures I can't think of a manager so poor. I think Fisher / owners thought he would be the kind of manager to win the fans over.

Tony Mowbray was the manager to win over fans.

Slade is supposed to be the man to steady the ship and firefight.
