Had a dream last night that I was sat in the pub after the Gillingham game talking to a mate and remember vividly saying "Finally, we needed that to turn a corner"

If I was a betting man (which I am but a skint one) I'd lump on us to win Saturday.....

You heard it here first, 3-0 win, Yak (2), Rose

We always beat Gills at the Ricoh so it should be a walk in the park, mind you I did say that about Millwall too

If we go to form we should be a goal up until the 3rd min of injury time....and then a defensive switch off instead of managing the game.

Could it not have just been a dream about a discussion you had about walking to the end of a long street and then going left?

Funnily enough, I too have a strong feeling we'll win this one. I'm gonna bung some money on it tomorrow.

OK I've had half a bottle of champagne tonight but I'm still doing it!!!!

Loving the positives, I will join in before we get slagged off and accused of being on drugs!
I think we win and it starts a run. Confidence the YAK had brought could see us go unbeaten at home now on in.

Best thing possible now tomorrow is not only a win, but a win with us scoring 2 goals or more.

A 2-0 or 3-1 would do wonders for us I think.

Would of course take a scrappy 1-0 victory any day of the week, but if we win well that surely has to give us an even bigger boost.

Wonder if we are going to have any signings today.

We have had that Nasseri now for over two weeks. We need to either give him a contract or bog him off.

Had my fingers crossed that he could replace the rather average Kyel Reid.

Maybe Slade has now turned his attention to Kieran Richardson instead, but another signing on top of Yakubu may lift spirits a bit too around the camp.

I had a dream last night that we were 5-0 up after 9 minutes and won 6-1. In my dream we were playing Birmingham though, so it's probably a right old load of arse.

And when we start winning a few the target won't be safety but how close to the playoffs we can get. And when we don't miss it by much the outcry is if the players were signed earlier we will have got promoted :shifty:

Then Slade will get the job next season and we'll be bottom by Christmas, and then the Cycle continues....

I feel positive about this, at last we have a goal threat up front with a real striker, an aged one but nevertheless a proper striker at least it gives the other teams defences something to think about

We should give him a chance. We went from shit to shitter before he took over. We didn't have the players. We all know that. We are now much stronger up front.

I would love Yakubu to start next game. That would have more of an effect of our opponents. Get them to sit back with 2 or 3 players on him. Our younger players can then learn about going forward together.

My take on it is he was passed on a jigsaw. But a few of the important pieces were missing. This is a deadbeat division we are stuck in. Bottom can beat top. If Yakubu starts sticking a few away our opponents will be shitting themselves. He will be well marked leaving us space. Beavon looks like a good provider. It could be fun.........

Law of averages say we must win a league game soon, so yes, I can see us beating Gillingham on Saturday, whether we can follow it up with the other 7-8 wins needed to get to 50 points is another matter. We have to hit top 2-3 form from here on in to stand any chance of staying up, that's a improbable task for any team let alone one thats one just 4 in 31 games, lacks goals and concedes at least 1 a game.

I'm going for a shocker of a 2-0 win. We do well against gills at the Ricoh but flop at Preistfields

You not go to the Wycombe game then?

I couldn't STOP grinning after that.
Yes went to the Wycombe game but doesn't carry the same as a bread and butter league win Otis. Happy we are Wembley but distraught at how rubbish the teams are in the 1st division and we cannot beat them

Funnily enough I had a dream we won 1-0 scored in the 75th minute. Although to be fair, in the dream all other games finished 18-17 and things like that..
