Jesus Grendel give the lad some credit for once he is having a stormer and Gillingham can't handle him. All teams who deploy attacking full backs successfully need players prepared to cover them when they attack

He's having a stormer? He's done ok but again has been out of position on at least 3 occasions. Clarke just ripped into him for his last demented escapade up front.

Attacking full backs also actually have to get back and don't start meandering into the middle of the park.

It's quite funny being a Cov fan in a devil-ish sort of way. Just looked at some of the posts in the hour up to KO and to be fair, I would've been the same...'what a fucker', 'no balls', 'Tudgay again?'. etc etc etc etc.

Funny old game isn't it?!

We'll still concede in the 90th, 91st and 92nd minute and then normal service will resume.

Gillingham look v poor. We controlling game quite comfortably. Hopefully no switching off second half and could get another couple. Come on city ...no complacency

Very bizzare that you don't seem to get pleasure out of witnessing one of our kids develop and start to become a class act.
It's a great sight as it is with DKE.

Slade has got a lot wrong including the panic change of formation and playing 3 at the back once things weren't immediately work out.

The one thing he did work out very quickly was the weak pathetic midfield we had which was the worst in the league.

Despite all the nonsense thrown at him he hasn't had the roll of the dice in critical parts of games.

We may still fold in this as the mentality will be brittle.

At least, though we are competitive.

Reilly, both Thomases and foley doing well. I'm afraid we have the nagging doubt of a goal. Burge looks hopelessly suspect.
