Is there any way certain players, who fees for were resisted in January, could have been siphoned out of the current structure if there were to be another event.
Unlikely I know and can only really think of one.
While we may have been struggling financially the cup boost should just about rectify.
It just seems odd that we didn't cash in the 3-4 players offers were allegedly made for.

The OP has inside info on this too.....

Perhaps we really did want to stay up.

Seems the football club has been cast adrift, and can do what it likes as long as it doesn't cost the paymasters. Hiring Slade was a statement of intent to stay up (a manager with a track record) and maybe the offer rejections were too.

Maybe a trip to Wembley has bought some breathing space in this season's budget.

Why would i care about getting attention on a sky blues forum? If you just rubbish what everyone says as them being an attention seeker there is just no point in having a forum.
Forums are for posting opinions, not made up garbage.

I would take relegation if it meant starting next season with new owners who could give the club a new direction and start taking us forward.

That would be epic, I would be confident that a lot of the lost fans would return and we can rebuild

Sorry Greggs, I didn't realise I was talking to someone who is 100% right about everything and can see into the future
Thank you for further confirmation of your childish nature. Move on everyone, nothing to see here.

Think it will be more of a reversing the football side out of the current set up by sacrificing certain assets to achieve it. Doesn't make sense for anyone to buy the current set up with the debt and preference shares

I mentioned on here a while ago, I would probably accept SISU having Ryton if it meant they'd fuck off.

Would be scared again just what type of owners we'd end up with, mind.

We ended up with SISU because we didn't have a ground, so if we lost a training ground too...?

Mind you, at least the level we'd be at would put off the carpet baggers determined to try and fluke a promotion to the premiership!

Oh yeah, in fairness the unspoken clauses in that statement would run to 100 pages!

My childish nature? You sound like a teenage girl, your immediate response was to call someone an attention seeker for merely sharing something they had been told.

My immediate response was to research you. This led me to 30 posts, one of which was another 'rumour' started by you. I'm simply working on statistics. If this takeover comes off, i'll apologise and shake your hand, but i'm 99.9999% sure it wont.

The question i would like to know the answer to is can you continue with jr2 and not own the company,

HOW THE FUCK DO YOU KNOW? Clown

Because Coventry City are not SISU. It isnt Coventry City who have taken the Council and soon to be The Wasps to court. SISU could still continue a court case without Coventry City surely.

I'm fairly sure that it was established on another thread some times ago that this could be done.

There have been approaches but the people involved would not meet SISUs ridiculous valuation.

Maybe the start of JR2 was even held back for a short while to see if any deal could be reached.

Given Joys obsession with the court room there is no chance she will sell the company that has bought the lastest round of litigation. There will be no tunnel let alone light at the end of it until JR2 and all the appeals have finished.

You're saying that we haven't even reached the tunnel yet?

.....the best thing that could happen is that HS2 be redirected through the Ricoh Arena. Pretty pointless court action then.

Get some perspective. Any takeover that will happen to us would confirm us as a small L2 club with corresponding budget and no stadium. No increase in money for players. No guarantee of any improvement in playing standards. No likelyhood of crowds more than 8k even with SISU gone.

Bit like now.

Maybe Tim himself then.

If we were still in L2 after 2 seasons we would be back to where we are now and any buzz/season ticket bounce will have ebbed away.

The drop from Championship to L2 is massive and completely game changing for club finances. A complete fuck up from Mowbray, Venus and Slade this season has really shagged us and would take almost a miracle to climb back to Championship. No amount of goodwill to owners can change that.
