So, I've learnt my lesson. My outlandish claims that Slade was the man for the job before his appointment and our saviour have come back to well and truly bite me in the arse.

So I've decided I'm not going to make any ridiculous comments regarding Robins' appointment.

Who am I kidding, off to put £10 on us staying up and another £20 on us winning the league next year by Christmas o_O

Live by the sword and all that !

Welcome back Robins, for gods sake let's hope to atleast watch a decent brand of football week in week out even if we are Shite !

I was the same. I thought Slade was a great appointment. Got it totally wrong.

Chin up mate.... I had him as the messiah!
I'll just enjoy the ride on the managerial appointment... I'm happy with it. I'll go as far as that.

I think i said something like "Slade is the best appointment we could have made in the circumstances". I was certain he would steady the ship and guide us to a solid if boring 18th place......

A lot of people thought Slade was the right man
Many on here were clamouring for his appointment
There's no need to apologise; he had the right credentials.

I love every manager when they first come, can't remember the last one I was disappointed by. I thought under Slade we would be dull but effective. I was half right.

I will put my hands up as well in saying Slade was the the right man in a bad job, I predicted he would hoof ball us into 16th place. Monumental prediction fail.

That's nothing I said Andy Thorn was a good appointment !
I recall commenting that Venus was the man to take us forward, after those impressive first 5 games in charge...oops.

Unless Sisu go and take Tim with them, with new owners coming in and placing everyone employed by the club on 30 day notice. This conversation and guess work about the good a bad signings of managers will be a constant topic of conversation.

Nothing will change unless a new lease of life is brought into the club that have power to effect our future in a positive manner, anyone who has been part of this mess need to be shown the door unless they prove to be positive and upbeat about the club and its direction. This club needs the biggest clear out, everything needs looking at or changed.
