Can Robins Perform A Miracle ? (1 Viewer)

Can Robins come in and turn a squad struggling to win games, and do the near impossible and keep us up ? I can't see it myself as teams around us have to go on a losing streak. What do you reckon ?

Yes, he can perform a miracle.

Can he keep us up? No.

I think he will change our form around and we could well win 5 or 6 games. That in itself is a miracle considering we have only won 5 games out of 35 matches.

Survival is a bridge too far.
A fellow fan today asked me if I watched the Barcelona comeback last night ? It was unbelievable but he said it shows the impossible can happen. He meant that we too could achieve the impossible also. That is dreamland !

No such thing as a Sky Blue miracle anymore, we've used up 8 of our 9 lives.

Robins can turn this team around, yes, he can get them winning, yes, but expecting him to keep us up is bordering on ridiculous. Like it's been suggested, if he was appointed instead of Slade, he'd have kept us up. In my opinion anyway.

Nah but he will manage to regain some of our dignity and I would feel confident of him leading us out of league 2 at the first time of asking. I would also fancy him to get us back to the Championship a couple of years later if his blood remained sky blue enough and we avoided administration.

We've changed managers enough times but it's pretty much the same bunch of crap players. Now City face better teams I expect our weak midfield to be overpowered most games. The only games we stand a chance of winning are the teams who are safe and not interested. This team is a relegation team, even the best would struggle to sort out a team that can win enough games to save us. We are relegated. Dream on.

No chance, you are down. I do hope you win at Wembley, refuse to buy any ST's, SISU give up and you can move forward with the Wembley fan momentum.

Us up Satdi and we've been playing well from day one, we've just drawn too many games and nobody can really put a finger on why. We don't really have any weak links although McCall went with a bizarre 4-4-2 last Saturday that got us a scrappy win v Posh in a game where for once, we didn't look good and absolutely dominate possession. You should hope he does the same again.

In a weird way, I kind of hope he doesn't. I've made my peace with us going down now, the hope would kill me if we went on a record breaking run now. Also I'm dreaming of being L2 Champions and us finally kick starting some momentum next season. Not so confident of doing it in L1 with our budget and no momentum behind us.

Funny we had those dreams of winning Championship and L1. They failed. What makes you think dreams can come true with idiots owning the club like Sisu. No chance.

It's that magical time between appointing a new manager and him ultimately disappointing us, let me have it.

Using the old football adage lets take one match at a time winning the first one Saturday is obviously vital to win 9 out of 11 is a monumental task though.

No we won't stay up. But a few words be, some posited performances and a general uplift in player and fan morale is more than possible. We might go to Wembley on a mini high and lay good foundations for next season. Let's hope so anyway.

Sadly we are in free fall and mark robins won't stop the rot. He will be forced into submission at some point just like he was before. no we won't perform a miracle and we will go down bottom of the league.

I think there will be an upturn in results, but we will come up short and finish 2nd bottom above Chesterfield
