Well this extra allocation has ruined my fucking week. Was looking forward to doing a count down on here, from 100 tickets, as the final few sold out but no, my Monday afternoon destroyed so a few extra plastics can go to Wembley

Whats the largest attendance for a single team at Wembley for a 50/50 split game? Obviously England and Spurs get a greater allocation, but we must be close to a record for a final if we flog the lot.

People said we wouldn't sell 30,000, people said we wouldn't sell this final 7000.

Of course we'll sell these 6500.

Just looked that up as I was interested. In a 1 off game (so not spurs in Champ league etc) the current record is just above 44,000 taken there by Millwall. So if we sell these then its a record.

Nope

"The fans here are superb. They are second to none, they have backed us all season long ... Our average crowd is over 26,500 and there were well over 36,000 at Wembley, and that speaks volumes. We'll be back."

The Definitive History of Leeds United - Matches - 25 May 2008 - Doncaster 1 Leeds 0

Fair enough, got a mate who's a Leeds fan and always claims they took 50k!

Actually, just found this Doncaster are up to the Championship but it's agony for McAllister's Leeds | Daily Mail Online

Daily Mail not the most reliable source though...

I'm not a bit surprised we have sold our allocation.
In fact I suspect we could sell another 20,000 quite easily
A day at Wembley is one of the best days out in football and it's so long since we had one

But if there is another owner seriously looking at taking over from SISU it certainly confirms City's potential
Everything that has gone wrong this season stems from incompetence and/or insouciance from the owners
Not only do they starve the club of resources but they also poison the relationships with the people the club needs to work with

If we end up with a committed or even an interested owner things could turn around fairly quickly
Let's hope the old saying about the darkest hour being before dawn is true in our case

Leeds fans are notorious for exaggerating their attendance. To be fair I'm sure there were a few of them in with the Doncaster fans to up that figure but they would still be well below what he can have plus that can't be counted in the actual attendance figures.

Looking further official attendance was 75,132. Doncaster took around 28k and there are around 10k natural club wembley/posh bits so that validates what I posted above putting Leeds at around 37k

Leeds have probably thought 75k minus 25 of theirs means 50 of ours

I am surprised we have managed to sell 40,000. I thought 30,000 would be a good turn out considering the current state of the club.

It makes me wonder how many we would sell for an FA Cup semi/final or play-off final if we can sell this many for quite a low key game in the footballing word.

The CT have got to be on the wind up. What with Gilberts 'article' on what people have said about him and a live rolling report of someone selling tickets at a ticket office its beyond parody.

Why do we care what others took, this is about our own and selling as many they give, showing any potential owner that there could be a fan base should we succeed on the pitch, forget raffles, half time shoot outs, its about delivery on the pitch, get that right and people will flock back to the Ricoh or anywhere else.
SISU haven't understood that or convinced investors of that, their business model is small investment and tight cost control so no blame other than - why buy at all if you are not going to invest.

We will have more who have already purchased in the corporate area.

Need a see of Blue and flood the social media networks on the day and for weeks after. The trust should be winding up every media outlet now about the buzz and interviews, pictures, profile etc.
The only way out is for a sale, this is our shop window so Jimmy Hill fund, Trust, any other organization that is anti sisu, join forces and use this opportunity.

If you chose best available category 6 tickets it now puts you in the back row of block 526 so I imagine that block is nearly sold now just not available to view on pick your seat

17 tickets left of the first allocation. I would assume that the new allocation would open as soon as they go?

There's obviously the need for it you'd assume if we've got them to sell.
