Just realised it is now mathematically impossible for us to get to the play-offs. I think this was the case when the Bradford defeat was confirmed on Sat.

Why you being so negative mate? With our current owners anything is possible.

Yep spineless that's the word. Loan players should be let go

harries for rawson
Thomas for reilly

No point any of them playing from now on

Nick's right the players don't care

They should be made examples of, it's their careers too. Drag them off after 15 minutes if it takes that.

league 2 on tour t-shirts being designed as we speak...............one season only...it will be a right laugh. Remember how much we all enjoyed that great away day at Stockport...

Yeah, after that's it's the Vauxhall conference.

if only sisu bought the Ricoh in 2008 instead of bully boy tactics hey. they came here to make a profit on a club and it didn't work. They wanted saints and they said no. Look where they are now and look where we are

That was Ranson's decision.

Now think...why were we in the position of having to try to buy half a stadium that was built for us....? It's not difficult is it? Because of the decisions made 15 years ago. That's why fans like me mention it.

Shhhhh, the magnanimous CCC wouldn't let us have it as it would have been state aid even though we paid for 75% of it. Thank goodness for us they finally let it go with a 250 year lease. Really helped the club through tough times in the end.

Why he's returned to this shit shower I'll never know. 17 points from safety. Jesus.
Because fisher has promised him millions close season for new players and then there's the new stadium which will be built and fishers goal of getting us into the premiership.....

Because he was unemployed and we pay him wages.

Yeah, I understand everyone's got bills to pay, but still, this must be the worst football club to manage right now, and has been for years now. Owners that only care about profit, no ground, no assets whatsoever. The only true asset are the fans and the potential which will be shown off on April 2nd. There are other clubs out there far easier to manage, without all this drama.

I was worried until Ann assured us the club wouldn't suffer.

There was never any option to buy the Ricoh to the extent that Wasps have. Only option was half of ACL, which might have improved turnover a bit but we'd still be in a relatively poor position compared to owning Highfield Rd.

Hey Torch. Hope you're well with all you've had going on.

Just picking up on your 'Ransons decision' bit. Do you mean the bully boy tactics or the deal falling foul with Saints?

No buying half of ACL as FP pointed out. He decided buying players was more important.

I kin give up.All of em have tried wing backs, it don't work. The players are to thick to play this system. And how the f*** has Tudgay talked himself back into the side.

20 minutes kin 20 minutes surprise ,surprise it didn't work. WTF 2-0 down then revert back to 442
The only good bit tonight was THE shot, yes we had a shot. and a song to celebrate.

Nobody with any sense will buy a team with no assets. The reason we lost those assets was 20 years ago when high field road was sold. We will always be shit until we have access to proper sources of revenue no matter the owner.

We are less than a club with no assets: we are a club that cant put revenues on the pitch because nearly half of our turnover every year has to be paid to sisu. That's why southend can afford to put out a team that very clearly has a higher budget than ours, despite having smaller rowds (though we're doing the bets to match those).

Definite sense of nopm attitude gaining amongst the faithful around me at the game tonight.

I thought it was the decline under SISU that "we're" not allowed to mention? Well certainly you, Nick, Grendull, FP and some others aren't allowed to mention anyway.

You must have missed my mention of it earlier in the thread then. No surprise.

Did it start "I know SISU carry some of the blame but..." as usual. I did notice that you've managed to bring CCC into the equation with some assistance though. What was it you were saying about deflection being my tactic earlier?

He'll be OK. He can always console himself in the knowledge that TF and SISU are good people ;)

You'll get years of use out of that one, won't you. He obviously doesn't realise they batter people in court. Just for you, that one.

Assuming the safety target increases by one point per game on average between now and the end of the season, that means we'll need 52 points to survive, possibly 53.

We have 27 points still to play for.

We have 26 on the board now.

26 + 27 = 53.

Unless there's something wrong with my maths, we can't afford to drop a single point between now and the end of the season if we're to stay up.

Put another way, we need to double our current points total (from 37 games) in 9 games..........

And Anne Lucus as well as owners from over 10 years ago.
We all know their were others to blame.
BUT Sisu have had 10 years to put it right all they have done is made it worse, yet some still defend them with the same bullshit.
The worst thing to ever happen to this club was the Northampton move that was only down to sisu, or could we blame Pressley for that instead?
