Not such a good deal if you're a season ticket holder and have already payed that price or more for the last 4 games eh?

Fair play to the club. I'm a ST holder and couldn't give a monkey's if they allowed everyone in free for the rest of the season. Might as well make use of the seats.

But its attitudes like this that keeps the prices high... I would rather see the ground full with free tickets than see so many empty seats... well done to the club for once although a little late now

Tickets for schools are doing a good job. They try their best. Why can't the club give the tickets away rather reducing them? Target 5 or 6 schools for every game. One adult and one child per pupil. Get them to fill out a form for data capture. Put them in a separate database and do some targeted marketing, for say 50% off for another game soon after the freebie. This could be followed by pushing the great work being done in the family zone in the run up to every future game. Costs are very low and will more than likely not only see them come back a few times but also a few new season ticket holders.

Huddersfield Town have 'partner' schools in the area. At the start of the season each kid gets a book of vouchers for every league game.
Even for a category 1 game, such as Newcastle, each voucher gives you one adult and one kit admission for £15.
Better to have £15 in the bank than 2 empty seats surely.

'Some' season ticket holders need to stop being so precious.
Incentives like this are the only way the club has any hope of being in business in 10 years time.

Same as.
I get a ST for the convenience of not having to queue for tickets or get timed out on line.
So don't care what others pay.
