They played it at half time at Port vale Tuesday night. Catchy tune. Didn't think Wembley songs were still a thing!
1st time I've seen the video. How awkward do the blokes singing it look?!

Seems very fitting... sounds like a funless funeral song by a more depressed Oasis... but I actually like it

I thought "go for it" was a bit weak, until the sky blue army sang it at Wembley. Not too many cup final songs sung by the fans I would guess, but ours was repeated many times.

Worked in Brum in 87, so played it many many times in the office after the win. All the Villa Baggies and Blues fans loved it....

Can't see this one being the same..

What dream are they banging on about?

This has always been about going to Wembley hasn't it? So the dream would be: to appear at Wembley? If so, they should have released it for the semi final.

Its Out NOW!

‘Keep the Dream Alive’ Wembley song is out, by 1987 ‘Go For It’ City duo
99p >.<

Couldn't help but chuckle at some of the singles they've been involved with, down the bottom of the pieice:
"Steve and Heather have been responsible for writing and producing 7 UK hits for among others, Shakin’ Stevens and Daniel O’Donnell including his biggest hit Give A Little love which helped raise over £2 million for the Romanian orphans."

Think they had planned a song anyway , so the match has come at the right time.
I must confess to enjoying the chas and dave attempts at footy songs.

Yeah it's shocking like, but can see meself singing it, do teams usually do a song for a tin pot cup?
