Players you would keep and what you would sign.....

I would send both Burge and RCC out on loan with a recall option. I would sign a experienced keeper.
I would have Corey on the bench. However if there was an injury I would recal Burge or RCC.

I would keep DKE as first choice RB
I would sign a no nonense experienced hard man CB
I would play Stokes beside him if we can keep him.
I would have Harries as back up and a loanee
I would keep Haynes if that possible and Stokes as his cover. However I would consider a loanee if he got a long term injury.
I think we will sell Willis.
I think we will sell Stevenson
I would keep Bigi
I would try and get Reilly (unlikely I Know)
I would keep Jones if possible
I would keep Reid if possible
I would keep Beavon if possible
I would let Ruben go.
I would keep both Thomas' if possible
I would sign a powerful striker
A hard man midfielder
A creative midfielder
Another 2 wingers.
I would let Foley Clarke Tudguy Turnball Vlad go

The rest would come from the development teams

What do people like about Reilly I really can't see what others are my own opinion has been that he is stealing stevensons place and doing a poor job of it at the same time

I like him and rate him, though he has had a couple of dodgy games of late.

I would love him here, but can't see him dropping down to League Two.

I like him and rate him, though he has had a couple of dodgy games of late.

I would love him here, but can't see him dropping down to League Two.

So the OP would use a very limited budget and sign Burge on a new deal and send him on loan. Fell asleep after that.

Oh other than re sign a failed left back and also resign stokes as a reserve to said failed left back.

Rest either get rid or loans we unfortuntley cannot extend for me.

But thats 10 players. Add another 12 newbies and should be a refreshing squad

Clarke seems to win pretty much everything in the air.

I would definitely keep him and hope we can secure another Rawson from somewhere. Those two seem to work well together.

Might keep a couple more g Thomas (not because of today but worth longer). Largely agree with the rest.

Its also important to note, he isn't playing upfront, hes playing on the wing. So when people (not you) judge him on goals then the likes of Reid, Jones, Lamieres, etc havent faired any better.

I'd keep him. He only turned 20 yesterday he has time on his side.

OP has Stokes as first choice center half alongside new signing CH. Stokes to cover Haynes in the event of injury.

without doubt. Said the same thing on the way home. One thing that has to stop is chopping and changing keepers.

Not strict first team/second team, expect all players to be pushing for first team.

Stokes won't stay, sell Willis, Stevenson, Beavon to fund signings. Release the rest. Sign GK, CB, CB DM, ST all solid pros 25-30. Loan in AM and a full back. Sign promising players at FB, DM, AM.

Fifteen players out (Burge, Stokes, Willis, Foley, Clarke, Stevenson, Rose, Reilly, Rawson, Vernham, Lamerias, Tudgay, Beavon, Folivi, Yakubu), ten players in (GK, RB, CB, CB, LB, DM, DM, AM, AM, ST). Should be doable on our budget.

Correct it's ridiculous to consider offering failed players new deals.

The other factor is who we can get rid of who are contracted. Reid, turnball, Beavon, K Thomas and jones are on deals and the first three likely to be big earners by league two standards.

They will eat into the budget big time so the notion we'd be able to waste money resigning the likes of Bigi Burge and Haynes is nonsense.

I'd offer stokes a deal but any other out of contract player should go. I suspect he will sign Clarke. I'd actively try and move Reid on as we need his wages on more committed players.
