Apparently there was a segment on our plight a few minutes ago on soccer saturday, can anyone summarise what was said?

Thanks in advance.

Actually starting to get really offended by his taunt of peace and reconciliation! No you don't hold a gun to someone's head in mediation to say if we can't agree we will sue you sir!! He believes this nonsense

We are going to be in the lowest professional league and he talks about being at the bottom of the cycle. He said that when we went down to league 1.

Do we need our own ground or not? There is no way we make the money he believes and fundamentally I don't believe a word that comes out his mouth. It's insane anyone does

Same old shit time and time again

Crikey. He look's like he's been living in Wetherspoons.

Active not passive seems to be the buzz word. Maybe we should request an active not passive response from our owners. If operating at breakeven isn't a passive response from our owners I don't know what is. Funny that yet again they expect from everyone else what they won't do themselves. Maybe they could stop putting the litigation front and centre and put the club there instead with some active investment to get us out of this shit.

I'm fucking sick to death of his and all the rest of them ,talking to us like we haven't a brain cell between us.
Talk is really cheap.
Yes I'm totally behind leaving the Ricoh, but FFS stop fucking talking and do something about it.
It's all talk and no action.
He and the other players in this shitfest do not give a turgid shit about the fans, the only asset left this club has

Active not passive assistance in moving us to the Butts?
Anybody else getting pi55ed off with all this nonsense?

If only they concentrated all their efforts in mending relationships with wasps!

Imagine going from a stadium like the Ricoh to one like the Butts!

Three stadiums in 12-15 years? That's nonsensical!

I don't like wasps, especially after their childish antics but I'd rather we tried to mend relations with them. But I'd rather we continue to use their facility aslong as the terms are reasonable.

Speak with them long term. Continue to have the Ricoh as our home.

It's always been clear that we never had plans for our own ground. And now this 'ground share' with CRFC all but confirms that.

So if we don't need our own land etc, why do we need to get on with Cov City's council? Why can't we just separate them from everything CCFC?

Does he want councillors turning up with boxes to help them move?

What does he actually want? They've got a place, they're doing a study, surely next step is planning and that's when the council come in?

Wow that entire interview annoyed me. He just doesn't answer questions. He's essentially a politician.

And is he seriously taking the route of saying that the current legal action threat should make everybody jump in to line with what they want. "Do what we say and you won't have to be battered in court by us" basically.

And if you are going to grow a beard line up the neck at least.

As usual he talks a good game but the proof is in the pudding.

They've demonstrated nothing but incompetence and failed miserably in running this football club.

Mowbray and Venus are responsible for creating a relegation squad this season. These dickheads are responsible for letting them.

Simply more deflection and lack of responsibility. 9 damn years and they are still for the umpteenth time learning the process of football recruitment !!!

Doesn't matter how many times he keeps spouting this nonsense the dots still don't join up.

And yes this continued reference to peace and reconciliation is becoming distasteful. A lot of brave committed people are honoured by the title of city of peace and reconciliation .... It has nothing to do with money and commercial disputes.

The more he spouts this rhetoric the less people listen.... and that is a very real problem for the future of our club

As for the 'we will back the manager in the summer / transfer window' speel, we've heard that before, haven't we?

I don't recall one pre season where I've thought 'I'm happy with that'. Even when we got Armstrong, Kent and Murphy, mainly because they were unknowns who in fairness pulled it off, but looks what's followed since then? Even the windows immediately after that; Hunt, Henderson, Ramage, Proswitch, Foley, Yakubu.
I could go on

He can't possibly believe this rubbish he is spouting surely? He can't believe he actually helps the club by saying it can he?

to be honest mate I'm not even sure you can class that as talking a good game. We've heard his shite so many times now it's just empty, meaningless rhetoric.

Though to me it's quite clear he's just towing the party line which I think he's finding quite stressful which is why he looks like a Hertford Street tramp but without the likeability.

I'm starting to get the impression that they (SISU) need the mediation because they have no faith in JR2. It's like I've always said. They don't batter people in court they use the courts to batter people. Problem is they've been found out by JR1.

We're at the bottom of the cycle again I see. Why has he dragged that line out again? I would have thought that every Cov fan realises that the bottom of the cycle will be the period of time it takes Joy to sign the bill of sale to the new owners so I don't know who he thinks he's following with that nonsense.

The moment for SISU not selling at the bottom of the cycle disappeared with project premier league. Their continued insistence on staying is just increasing the depth of the bottom of the cycle.

Exactly and it didn't matter if people had heckled him or kept quiet at the trust meeting, the out come would have been the same.
He is just an arrogant prick who believes we are to stupid to see through him.
His answers are probebly rehearsed in front of the mirror while sitting on the pan in a BP toilet.

Just watched he looks like he is suffering and for that I am glad.

Why can't he just say we want to sell Ryton for the cash rather than this rubbish that we are going to build somewhere else, where will the sale money be safely held the Cayman Islands?

More bullshit from the master of bullshit

The problem with this interview is that his version and spin are portrayed nationally and to others involved in football as the situation at our club, and is unchallenged. It becomes accepted.
