if the club put 2017 - 18 season tickets on sale at the weekend, (say Friday through until Monday evening), to capitalise on the Wembley feel good factor, would you support it, would you buy one, what would the realistic reduction be and would it be successful?

For me I'm 99% sure im not renewing but at a significant reduction on this year say £175 (think that's half of what I paid this year) I'd have a think but to be honest I think unless they're giving them away I won't be renewing!

On a side note I agree as soon as we got to Wembley they should have got next years ST prices out in my opinion.

it's a shame to hear people talk like this though totally understandable. Hope things pick up so you're not lost for good.

I hope so as well, I've gone up every week since the age of 5 (bar 6F season), but I will 100% renew should the owners go. (Which unfortunately I know they will not be departing anytime soon.)

I know I always say the same thing on these kind of threads but I will be and always will renew.

Due to circumstance my last game was at the beginning of January and despite our shit season I have longed to go every one of those missed games. Listening on the radio isn't enough for me.

I don't buy a season ticket because I am out of the country a lot but I will still go when the mood takes me, however if the club dropped the prices I think it would tempt a lot more people that are in 2 minds...over to you Shitsu

I'll get one when they come out on sale. Cheaper than paying every week and less hassle having to order tickets.

I'll be buying next season. Been away for years but the pull is still there. Understand all the NOPM stuff but the eleven players on the pitch need supporting more than ever.
Mmmm not sure about that! They have been an absolute disgrace all season and have been let off the hook by the off field stuff.

I shall renew if my friends do ( i' m not going up on my own)
At my age I can't afford to stay away until all the planets are in alignment or whatever the next excuse will be, as I might never see another game.

What is the Wembley feel good factor? We are about to be relegated and playing in a nothing cup with an added bunch of jollys, who don't even know any of the players names let alone buy a season ticket. By all means buy a season ticket if you want. But usually a relegation will upset a few peeps enough for them to not buy. Will anyone buy a season ticket on the strength of a jolly at Wembley? I'm confused with this one!?!

Made me laugh this morning on free radio where they mentioned we could be relegated before Wembley....you'd think they'd know stuff like that

I'll be renewing regardless of owners, league, manager etc.

Plus, is it wrong I have a certain level of optimism for next season (at least on the field) with Robins in charge?
A True fan.
No its not wrong to be optimistic. We all want Robins to be successful, new season and all. Let's see who we have left after the Sisu close season sale and hope Robins gets a decent player budget to spend wisely. Im a Robin's fan. No season tickets for me tho.

it's quite simple, there will be a feel good factor at the weekend, that's why 45,000 people are going to Wembley.
Yes, many don't no the names of the players, but a lot are occasional goers who were perhaps regular attendees, (the majority of the people I got tickets for fit this profile).
Would it be worth the club trying to take advantage? We're all aware of the relegation situation, but his is a close to a feel good buzz the club is going to get this season.

To be honest I welcome the "SISU Close Season Sale" you mentioned. None of these will be missed.

I have been more tempted since the return of Mark Robins but been stung before, it's the investment that will be crucial and fisher is already talking about top eight budgets when he should be promising the biggest budget in the league

One of the areas he should have been pushed harder on at the Trust meeting. What is his top 8 budget based on? How can he make that statement not knowing season ticket sales (or possibly even pricing yet)? When is that budget going to be available to Robins and how is the June/July cashflow issue of the previous year going to be resolved so that our squad can be assembled in time to reflect the overall budget?

You're telling me finding out what next seasons budget will be based on is more important than a fella not being able to get a Wembley pin badge!

Get your priorities right!!

Who's got time to get one.
Going down on Saturday morning working Friday and if we lose no feelgood factor on Monday.
who's really got time to think about ST more important things to organise.
Unfortunately no one in our area is renewing and don't really want to move been in the same seats since the move, won't be the same anymore.

I know what you mean in the question, but surely you cannot set the price until it's known for sure what league we'll be playing in (sorry for any hint of optimism).
What are the costs of an ST among the "bigger" clubs in Div 4 (Pompey, Luton, etc)?
Bugger me, just looked the cost of an ST for Cheltenham for this season, and they start at £315 and go up to £414! That's as much as us, isn't it?

EDIT: While they're my closest league team, so will be easy away game for me, it's fooking depressing that we'll almost certainly be playing Cheltenham next season!
