3 weeks ago i was thinking there was no way we would win this game.
Now Robins has them looking at least somewhat organised (and after winning 2 on the bounce) i'm genuinely confident of a 2 goal win.
I think the fans are going to push them Sunday too and its going to be amazing!! (*i hope*)

Oh... and 3 hours until i head to Orlando airport!!

Excitement is building in our house. It'll be my 7 year old girls first ever game, she is really excited about it. My boy isn't a big football fan but he's looking forward to it. Even the Mrs is excited about it.
Can't wait, hopefully we'll have something to cheer about.

In a one off game at Wembley any outcome is possible. These players are never going to play on a stage like that again and the question is do they either embrace that or crumble like they have so often done. Despite the competition being one for the lower leagues if we win it should be plastered all over the city and the ground-I trust our esteemed city council and landlords will have no objections.

I think it all depends on who scores first. This season, we don't have a great record of coming from behind. But, as you say, in a game like this anything can happen. I would not be surprised to see either side stuff the other.

Next week this site will be dead, well at least i'm being honest! anyway, anybody else think that the team will let the occasion get to them, especially with a Wembley crowd, and we all know how city preform with a big crowd now

The team has been announced to the players today apparently. Has anyone heard anything about who's in? Also, why would they not have told the players all week? Would be a kick in the balls to be told tonight that you're not in the squad, I just assumed they would have known all week.

I think we will go down to an early goal. Get a last min equaliser (we are over due one). The a nervy extra time after we take an early lead.

2-1 Cov after extra time.

Willis and Lameiras with the goals

Actually it's not me but it is David who I'm travelling back from Brno with, for the final. There's 2 Sky Blues in Brno and he's the other one! He's bringing a Czech flag with 'Brno Sky Blues' on it so you'll spot us in block 241 or out and about boozing before the game. We both owe a debt to @Sky Blue Pete for letting us book tickets early against his season ticket. Lovely man!

5-4 to Cov after being 3-0 and 4-1 down. Yakubu 35 yarder freekick in the 82nd min (4-2), Yakubu 25 yarder dipping volley in the top corner - 86th min (4-3), Yakubu scorpion kick in the 91st min (4-4), Burge goes up for a late late freekick in the 95th min, finds himself one on one with their keeper and chips it above him and in to blow the roof off Wembley as the city fans go absolutely berserk.

What prescription meds you on? Can you share them out at Wembley? Honestly who could believe burge would chip the keeper when we all know he would place his shot with unerring accuracy.

My brother is a City fan living in Ostrava. He's also travelled back for the final. He used to go to Brno quite a bit for work so maybe you've bumped into him!

Next time the sun comes up is the day we finally get to see city at Wembley. I was born in '88 so I've waited my whole life for this day.
I was 18 in 87 Only went to The old stadium 3 times.
Twice with City and once to see Simple minds in 88 or 89.

Well what can i say it's the eve of the biggest game I'm going to go to. Been white hart lane when we won to stay up, villa away in the cup and united away when we won to say a few. I was two years old in 87 my dad and uncle went and I've been speaking with my old man all day about how it was then comparing stadiums old and new and allsorts. His still got his ticket stub. Sitting over the road from Wembley stadium and still can't believe we're here. Come tomorrow morning I know I'm going to wake up with a view I'm never going to witness properly never again a sea of sky blue at Wembley... well let's hav a day to remember...see u all of the skyblue army tomorrow sing loud and proud.....PUSB

Up until today I really wasn't bothered about this, but the last couple of days it's been really nice seeing the excitement amongst people build up. I'm looking forward to tomorrow now. I still don't feel too fussed about the result though I think that will probably change when I'm down there!

I do know it's great to feel excitement around our club for a change. It's still a tin-pot trophy in my eyes, but we deserve our day in the sun after all we've been through for the last 15 years.

I was 9 years old last time I seen us play at Wembley, although nowhere near the same level, hopefully this will inspire some of the younger kids. Hoping for a good atmosphere and that everyone enjoys a few drinks and stays safe. Good trips all!

En route to the station now. Cannot wait!

After constant years of shit, it's nice to have at least one day to unite fans and generate positive interest in our team. We may be relegated, we may have no ground, poor owners and an unsupportive council, but none of that matters today.
